maybe so, but if Alex had looked down VD and then gone right to D Walker, I call a TD.
as soon as he got out of the tackle box, he should've pump faked to VD, set and launched it to walker. TD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If he didnt see him how did he know he missed him when he was talking to Geep?
Great point. However, it's possible someone said something to Smith jogging off the field. I'm pretty sure Walker would of been complaining. Anyway, regardless whether he saw him or not, the point is it was a play that everyone on the Niners agree should have been made. Only on the Zone are people making excuses.

He and Geep were going over the pictures of the drive and talking about Walker being open. I watched this several times and on the play by play the commentator is talking about their all-pro safety lurking in the vicinity of Walker. So, you can read this as Smith making a mistake or being reasonbly cautious. Those who have a passion one way or the other will find their answer as suits them.

well he did hit VD with a good toss, so both guys were open Thats a good thing.

All's well that ends at 9-2! Go niners! They may be surprised by some of the NFC west teams but they only need one game and can work on getting the O in sync for the playoffs. I hope they play Williams and rest Edwards and let his shoulder heal, as well as getting some time for other backups. Would like to see more of Boone, Kilgore, R Smith, Spencer, Dobbs, and the back up RBs. Get everyone in sync for a playoff surge!

This week is huge for 49ers fans.
1. It's good ole Rams week again.
2. We have a chance to, once again, see a double digit number in the wins column.

honestly doubt Alex would have hit Delanie even if he had seen him. Once he rolled out right he would have no time to set his feet and throw, and I dont think he has the arm strength to throw it that far while on the run. He had guys all around him about to hit him, no time at all.

It was a designed roll-out and he's actually very accurate running to his right and throwing on the run. Rarely does a QB set his feet on a roll-out.
