I agree. A divorce, no matter how rich and powerful you are or whose fault it is, a divorce can be devastating.

I believe it will be good for Jed, and the 49ers, to have Al Guido take the reins for a while. Let Jed get the care he needs and then come back to the organization. In the meantime, the team will be on the field taking care of business. Hopefully a few wins to start the season and Jed will be out of the limelight.

Honestly I'm worried for Jed(Joe)

Obviously his life isn't over since he's got a crapload of money but he's always struck me as a bit of a try hard. Someone living in his uncle's shadow, handed things fairly easily and just not sure how much he really had to battle for anything.

This may be the first of any real personal adversity he's had to face and boy is it a doozie. It would not surprise me at all if we had a new owner in a couple of years. If it happens I hope the new person is more of an Eddie than a Dan Snyder.

If I'm wrong on this read I just hope Jed uses this embarrassment to bring more energy into winning a SB to wipe away this stink(Bob Kraft did). I've always caught myself cringing a bit when Jed talks. One way or another this situation should keep him from the mic for a bit. I would like to see him talk a lot at the end of the season tho - thanking the team for winning the Lombardi that is.
