Someone can be happy to have playoff years with playoff wins, conference championship and Super Bowl appearances and still be upset that they didn't win the SB. These aren't mutually exclusive reactions or ideas.

The suggestion that everything is terrible and you should hate the team, your family and yourself unless the 49ers win the SB is asinine. Doing that just makes you an annoying brat who makes everyone else miserable.

Why do you ask? What do those guys have to do with 49ers QB's?

I ask because I'm curious if your logic holds to players as well.

Neither of them won the SB. Would you be pushing to get rid of them as a fan of each team? Or are their accomplishments considered ok for losing?

I really don't think of other players or other teams the way I do our own players. Sorry.

So do you understand why it's hard to take some of your posts seriously? When you have a certain standard only for this team and ignore the same logic for others it comes off pretty silly.

I really don't care how you or anyone take my post LOL.

I don't give much thought about how seriously anyone will take my post, I know that I have a take that many folks outside out the PR department can relate to.
so your here not to actually discuss, learn or talk football.. you're just gonna post whatever huh .. there's a term for that

Your words not mine. I usually only see other teams players discussed in the NFL forum. I don't spend much time posting in there, I usually stay in the 49ers forum for the most part. However, you can post whatever you want to post. I won't hold it against you.
what does your reply have to do with backing up that you are only here to talk crap.

You admitted you don't follow anything NFL, so that already leaves you at being incapable of talking with others on these subjects.

I would change and try to open up. you might learn something.. thats a good thing

I didn't say I don't follow the NFL, you said that.

Your take is yours. Own it but don't put other people down for not agreeing with it.

If you want to treat every non SB losing season like the whole team should be blown up that's on you. Going around making comments about how other fans enjoy losing will not go well.

Go find me one post of anyone here enjoying us losing a SB or in the playoffs. Just one person.

Correct. Like I said enjoyed 2023 and 2019 a lot more than I enjoyed 2020 and 2024 season. Yes they were all the same in the end but when you're IN those seasons it's not even close which one is more exciting to follow.

It's a sad way to look at things if you can't appreciate the accomplishments of a good season while still acknowledging the failure at the end.

What's even more annoying is when you lose a 2 SBs to the same team and in both games you should have and could have won handily. Then you have to listen to "fans" celebrate the shortcomings by focusing their attention on the NFCC games and boast about how hard it is to even get there. Those types of fans would get the middle finger in the 80s / 90s but are now touted as objective and balanced…

what a laugher…

If you're so annoyed by fans not living up to your standards maybe you should find another message board to post on?

it's not the 80s or the 90s, and had it been then Kyle would've won that SB last year. So comparing the old days to now is stupid. Different rules, salary cap.

There is no age requirement to post here and many fans here weren't around for the 80s and even some who weren't around for the 90s. You're not better than them cuz you were born earlier so stop acting like they should "fan" like you.

That goes for everyone else. Don't gatekeep how fans should fan. And based on post quality a lot of the "fans" you're bashing seem to know this game a lot better than you.

No, it's called having some damn perspective for once! No one is cheering about losing a SB. It's having some god damn understanding of how hard it is to even get there and how football games go. One thing can change the outcome of a game, this isn't a thing where SF showed up and got destroyed like KC just did.

like I said one thing changes in either game and Kyle wins one more game…then you aren't in here daily crying about him. He gets to be the HC for as long as he wants. Understand how stupid that is. One game changes your total perspective. One play. One thing that has absolutely nothing to do with the coach could change all that.

What's funnier is pretending the 80s are coming back. Bill Walsh isn't walking through the door. Times are different, the league is different. Trying to relive football from 30 yrs ago and saying if it isn't that then it's s**t, is a dumb way to be a fan imo.

Like I said if this was the 80s or 90s Kyle wins that game since we'd be playing by the old OT rules and the FG wins the game and KC never gets a chance. Simple as that and that's not even getting into all the rule changes, officiating stuff we had to deal with or the salary cap that Walsh didn't have to worry about.

I'm tempted to create a thread for the older fans who just want to live in negativity. They want an echo chamber, they can just talk about the good ol days and yell at Shanahan and whomever else they want to blame,.,

Kyle actually thought that he was playing by those old school rules.

I think we are nearing an end to the Shanahan lynch era within the next 2-3 years. It looking like shanahan's incompetence in roster building is coming to a head. Jed is not putting up with his b******t anymore

Maybe it's a good thing that the Yorks are going to be more stingy with their cash since I think the spending is what could lead to Kyle and John getting fired.

But yeah, hearing the Yorks are going to be "ruthless" is never a comforting thought given their track record. Those disgruntled fans forget how bad things could really get.
