Yeah, how terrible to have an owner that leaves the decisions to his GM and HC and signs any checks before him for front office, coaches and players, etc.

I'll give Jed credit in that I do believe he wants to win and is willing to spend. It could be worse.

according to the players, only the training room is an issue. Niners graded out fairly high. we should see the 2024 grades soon. but this isnt the cheap Dr. York team of the aughts.

Seriously people here just find anything to cry over, those are the same people wanting Kyle fired for having a down year after competing for multiple SB's since he's been here.

So why want him to sell 90% then? He does every thing you can ask as a fan of your team for the owner to do. Spend money and let the guys you hire do their jobs, we can be like the Jets fans and have Woody Johnson

I don't agree with this, but it's complicated. I'm also not in the group that wants Shanahan fired and one of the key reasons why that's the case, beyond the fact that he's a top quality coach, is he can be successful in an organization where the bolded is not necessarily true. Fortunately for us we were so backed into a corner in our last GM/HC search Shanahan was able to leverage the front office's position to his benefit (and ultimately ours as fans).

Things aren't black and white for me. Jed has positive qualities, which I acknowledged in my last post, and negative ones as well. For me, the negatives outweigh the positives.

i didn't see any negatives listed in your posts, I see one opinion and only one. not sure how one outweighs more positives

I really, really don't understand this attitude. I don't see any reason to want to see the back of him. But the other side of it is, who would be likely to buy the 90%? It is likely to be a billionaire because who else could afford it? Now, I would have thought that the activities of Elon Musk would be a powerful case for not wanting such a man to own the Niners.

The thing about change is, it can very easily be a change for worse, not better. Ask Cowboy fans about their owner.
Musk, so he can move the team to Texas….FINALLY!!! 💯🔜🤠 #Frisco49ers

(you bay aryans can finally root for the rams or chargers….CA never needed 4 teams)

Well, you can have the Rams then. They are used to moving around a lot.

Bay Aryans? I'll bet there are more Aryans in Texas than in California.
The rest of the league owners need to approve any ownership change. I doubt they would want someone like Musk in their ranks The NFL rejected Trump years ago so hopefully they would do the same if Musk tried to buy the team. He would bring nothing to the league but bad publicity. I doubt he knows much about football.

IMO Jed is fantastic and I'm glad we have him. We contend almost every year and have realistic hope of winning championships. Very few teams in all of sports can say that.

I have noissues with Jed but he's not the owner. His parents are the owners.
