Yeah "they really have to get those penaltys down". We had'nt been as bad as the Lions game all season although we haven't been perfect. Douchebag John Ritchie makes it sound like we suck but we'll probably end up 11-5 or 12-4. WTF make up your mind

Some one needs to tell those tools, the schedule has not "been our friend". Unlike Green Bay our wins have come against high quality opponents, as a matter of fact I read somewhere that our opponents have the best record of any group beaten by a top team. In other words we have played the toughest schedule of any of the top five winning teams! Second we beat the "Mighty Lions" with our 3rd and 4th wide outs! By any accounts Morgan and Edwards are the two best wr's on the team! As for Alex throwing to Walker instead of Crabtree, easy choice Crabtree just can't be trusted to make that catch, thats why Crabs is the #3 receiver on this team! So Maybe we don't run the table, but really look at our schedule, we have 3 games that could be losses, Ravens, Steelers, and Giants. We have a good chance at winning any of those games, say we lose all 3, thats 12-4, and that aint bad! I feel strongly that we can win 2 out of 3 there, 14 and 2? sounds crazy, but unless Seattle upsets us on the road, we have a real shot at it! Still 10 games to play in the softest part of our schedule yet to come, and these tools have us going 6-4? Really so say we lose the afore mentioned 3 games, and Seattle upsets us..... just don't see it! I don't know if I'm more geeked about getting Edwards back, or the thought of the Edwards and Morgan healthy next season! Holy Crap man we are going to be BETTER next season, let that soak in! With the reletive youth on this team, those tools on TV better get used to talking about us!

Anyone else think it could easily be 3-7 coming up?

our record? No. unless we have major injuries at a bunch of positions, no. we aren't winning by fluke or by luck. we are winning because we have better game plans, better conditioning, and are mentally and physically tougher than our opponents.

Most of what Ritchie said what BS, but having the last 2 teams we played play on monday night the week before did help us somewhat

if dingleberry was still the head coach still. Instead of adjusments at halftime he was too quick to drop his pants and show our players where he was gonna lead us

With rash of bad injuries, that could happen, but if the team is generally healthy, it's difficult to see how it could lose more than half of the remaining games.

Skip is an idiot...and continues to be one. Niners haven't done anything in the first 6 games to suggest they will win the last 10 - especially at Ravens during a short week. Division games are always up for grabs (ok, Rams suck balls) but at Seattle and at Arizona can go either way. Steelers are no push-overs either. But whatever, Browns are up first, and that's all Niners should worry about.

last year, teams were 15-16 after a monday night game. I don't think it plays that big of a role, not like playing on the east coast 1pm game. That has a history of having a huge impact.

agreed. I've always hated Bayless. If he thinks nice things about this team, good for him, I still won't listen to him.
and yeah, I hope Harbs and Co. have a good strategy for keeping this team even-keeled. Hype is cool for fans but I'm not sure how this team will handle it. Also, hope the coaches are as good at handling the team with its target on its back as they are in handling the underdog role. That's going to be a huge challenge. Teams like the Browns, and especially our division rivals, are going to treat a game against us with great importance.
The way football goes, we'll probably lose a game or two that we should win, and win a game or two that we should lose. Going 5-5 or even 6-4 the rest of the way would be disappointing to me, but football is impossible to predict. It's fun and fine for us fans to do it, but like you said, the team just has to focus on the Browns and not worry about playoff seeding or 14 game winning streaks right now.
