I'd say quick is a better term.

I want to see him get a few slant passes to see what he can do
same here.
this, I was saying this last year also. I was hoping he would get a chance to get on the field.
Williams and Ginn are very similar players.
Its hard to knock Ginn right now because he is having a good season on special teams, but I think Kyle Williams is also a very dangerous punt return man. Not as dangerous as Ginn perhaps, but he has ability. He is also a better receiver than Ginn.
I have always been thinking, "If they only give this kid a CHANCE", well now he has his chance.

Williams is very underrated, and I'd like to see him get some field time without Edwards or Morgan around this week.
More importantly though, I think the 49ers need to be doing all they possibly can to try and pry Brandon Lloyd from Denver. The dude is exactly what this team needs, someone who can stretch the field a bit, and can make the tough catch. Also another go-to guy around the end-zone, where Vernon Davis becomes a marked man.
I hear Denver is looking for a mid-round draft pick for Lloyd and I know he's a FA after this year, but could see him drastically improving this team. Outside of a dominant O-lineman (and there aren't none) or a blanket corner, I don't know if there is a player out there who's better suited to help this team. Makes way too much sense if you ask me!
I could definitely live with Lloyd and Brayon on the outside (assuming he's healthy) with Micheal running the slot. Or if Edwards continues to be hobbled, I'd go Ginn or Williams in the slot.
C'Mon Trent, make something happen... This is the most exciting football we've seen in years here in San Francisco, so make that push over the top if it's out there, and Brandon Lloyd for a 4th rounder is a no-brainer. Even if he's here as a 1/2 year rental a la Carlos Beltran with the Giants.
I'm new to the board here, and glad to be a part of a large 49er community, you guys know your stuff.
I have a 49ers-based blog called "The Bay Area Sports Journal" though I have broadened it in order to discuss all types of sporting topics, including Raiders, Giants, Stanford, A's and general, MLB, NFL and NBA news... Please check it out, bookmark it, and stay tuned for frequent posts! Thanks Guys!

I don't understand the infatuation with Williams. He hasn't really done much in the NFL yet there are posters here who are acting like he is the next coming of Jerry Rice but just hasn't gotten his chance yet.

Yes, he is. We're not going to miss Morgan much in this game, IMO.
