We kept a lot of guys in for protection. Don't think we ever went to a 3 WR set. So he barely played.

I'd rather keep Williams. Don't like Lloyd's character.

Williams and Ginn are very similar players.
Its hard to knock Ginn right now because he is having a good season on special teams, but I think Kyle Williams is also a very dangerous punt return man. Not as dangerous as Ginn perhaps, but he has ability. He is also a better receiver than Ginn.

I have always been thinking, "If they only give this kid a CHANCE", well now he has his chance.
Williams has noticeably had more participation in this offense. One of the areas of diversity that could be missed due to Joshua Morgan's injury is a receiver with the quickness to be a YAC threat. Crabtree may appear to be more of a sure handed possession receiver, Edwards is the large physical receiver with all-round potential, and Ginn is a versatile deep threat but could be a little too lean for catches in heavy traffic. Hopefully Kyle Williams continues to improve towards that Morgan-like capacity and thereby cements a greater role on this offense as the season progresses. The WCO traditionally thrives on receivers that can take a short catch and use their quickness and agility to make some big plays afterward, a la Jerry Rice and John Taylor. Losing Morgan just as he was seeing success was disappointing, but Williams has an opportunity, to at least temporarily attempt to fill this essential role and vacancy.
Kyle Williams -> HS teamate. HS class mate. <---NEVER COUNT KYLE WILLIAMS OUT. love the guy.
would love to see kyle get more opportunities and i agree that he can be a YAC receiver which we need
Kyle Williams now leads all 49ers wide receivers with 2 TD receptions in 2011.

I guess that's only because of Crabs miscall in Cinnci That NFLN shows over and over again. And the two of the same foot doesn't equal two feet down ruling.
Wasnt I the one who said that KYLE WILLIAMS was gonna be a stud? oh yeah, I mean he only went to my high school and know him personally.

THIS GUY CAN PLAY.
