Goto Twitter. They already do!

Which starters are talking like we won the Superbowl? And the scary super tough Bucs have 2 wins from 2 team's that are 0-4.

yea true.. but they a 10-4 team who beat us last year. gotta take em serious

Yeah they beat us lastyear, but this is a different team and coaching, and Alex Smith is not Troy Smith.

I somewhat agree with the OP

I'm as happy if not happier than any of you with the recent win, but it's still really early in the season. If we lose next week it's gonna be all "woe is me" in here. We just need to take it one game at a time and not get too hyped.

I know we're a different team and blah blah blah, but we were 3-1 in 09. L
Might all disappear like an illusion but so far the 9ers have been good enough and lucky, as opposed to last number of years when the ball bounces away from Smith. So, sometimes luck is an attitude and the result of hard work and great planning.

Harbaugh's going to play it like 16 single game seasons...so celebrate it as 16 separate seasons! Dag nab it!

And Fans. Well, we have the right to be obnoxious, sometimes delusional, and cocky all we want, especially after watching over a decade of awful football.

(grabs cigar and champagne) Now if you excuse me, I have 4 more days to celebrate this victory.

I really don't think anyone is acting like we won the Super Bowl, but I also won't say this was just another win either. It was a come from behind win on the road. This is a game that the last few years we would have found a way to lose. Alex would have gotten happy feet and fumbled, Crabtree would have tipped another pass to the defensive back...something. But this time they found a way to win, so they have shown they can do it - and that is more than "just a win", it's a confidence booster.

What made the 49er dynasty so great for so many years was an attitude, as much as it was the talent on the field. Players didn't "hope" to win, they EXPECTED to win! They had confidence in their teamates to make the plays that needed to be made. That doesn't just happen. You don't get that attitude and that confidence unless you get into those close games, and win them. This game was a first step towards that.

one more point to add

The players have something they haven't had in years, and for some, have never had in the their NFL careers....CONFIDENCE. Knowing that you can come back and win a game when it looks impossible is a major mental accomplishment. They will start to see themselves as true equals and able to play with anybody...they think they can win, then they know they can win, then they expect to win. The Patriots, Packers, Ravens etc go into games with the correct mentality and toughness. Jim is changing the thought process for the players and fans (mostly the players). You will see it become a, "I hope we can pull this out" to "f**k this s**t, we ain't even started to fight yet".

Well then it's a good thing I stopped when I did, or I would have been after you! :) I was going to add something like winning being an attitude and a habit, and losing can be the same thing - which is what we've had here for so long. But then I realized that was quoting a line from the movie "Best Of The Best", so I stopped myself!
We didn't win the Super Bowl. But if a few not-entirely-unrealistic bounces go our way we could be a NFC contender next year. The only dominant team in the NFL right now is the Packers, though the Lions are for real and have a ton of potential as well. We have the young talent on both sides of the ball to go deep in the playoffs with Smith as a top 10-15 "game manager"-type QB.

I'm hoping that our O-Line problems can be cured with some improved coaching and the passage of time for these young guys. They're the biggest variable.

exactly, our optimism our happiness has no effect on the team whatsoever. if you wanna worry about taking it easy on the bucs, the players should be your focus not the fans
