You can't tell me that that wasn't a sick ass throw to Gore after that botched snap bouce rollout to get the pass interference call?
The Oline couldn't do anything against Ware ,

6 SACKS

2 sacks came untouched

and 1 of them of a 3 step drop

thats inexcusable

which one was the one that had Alex shaking his head?
Maybe I'm delusional but to me a WCO offense should use the pass to set up the run. Jim Harbaugh has stated he wants a 50/ 50 balance, but he's record show's he leans towards the run. The first two games pretty much states that he will lean towards the run to set up the pass. Like I said, that to me is not a WCO and anyway shape or form. I had vision's in my head that when he said we would be going back to WCO that we would see 300+ yards through the air, hell at least 250+. I know new system, new coach takes time...blah, blah ,blah.... It just sucks that everybody and their dog throws for 250 to 350 yards every week (give or take 3 or 4 exceptions). ....One other thing, if we are going to use the run to set up the pass, well we're in trouble cause our run game sucks... Not even in the top 25 in the league

Sorry about the debbie downer post...Not feeling real good about our team at the moment. Don't even get me started on our secondary
p*sses me off that Romo and the cowpies defense are getting all of the praise.

Two costly FS botches cost us the game: The slant before the half ended and the last play.

WE HAD THEM

Some of the running plays are really slow developing and the o line do not seem capable of holding onto their blocks for long. Hopefully there is enough game film to throw out running plays that aren't working out and continue to build on what is working.

Thank goodness the preseason is almost over...

You know, if we won, the news would still be about DAL and what's wrong with them.

This media coverage doesn't bother me. The niners are a decent team this year and will get better as the season goes along. The media will pay attention to them if they are in the playoff hunt towards the end of the season. Nobody likes to be wrong and since most of the talking heads picked the niners to have a top 5 draft choice, they aren't exactly in a hurry to give them any praise.
This article seems to state that we are not and I think it was more of a way to get the fans attention. It mentions that Harbaugh pledges to run a similar version of the WCO but then goes on to mention how he was influenced a great deal by Lindy Infante.

Vernon Davis, who was upset with his role following the loss to Dallas, said he hashed things out with Harbaugh this week. "I had on my mind, some of the things we could have done better in the game," Davis said. "I pointed them out to him as far as getting everybody involved. I mean everybody. All the playmakers we have. Because that's what we need to win games. That's what I'm here for to win games."

Like to read stuff like this because Davis understands the importance of proper communication now. "Hashing" it out is a good thing. Hopefully, we will see more of Davis.
gonna a vernon davis appreciation day game plan this week i think. Cincy's gonna get shredded

Just rewatched the offense in the first half and I am very encouraged. Alex played VERY well. The pass to Ginn while taking a big hit was a thing of beauty. Also, the pass to Gore off of the bad snap that got called for PI was on target.

Play calling was also quite good. There were some screens and a draw play that were real nice to see and kept the pass rush at bay in the first quarter. I think if we can just keep that up for a whole game we will have a very good offense.
To be honest bro, I am not sure if we are running any kind of organized offense. This is about as inept as I have seen the 49ers over the last eight seasons. It's pretty awful.
Installing a WCO isn't like scoring the drunk cougar at the local dive bar, it can't be done in a short period of time, okay? They're still learning it and it takes some time, especially after a shortened training camp! Watching Stanford last year is clear Harbaugh does run an effective WCO and will do so here once everyone gets everything down.

You need to instruct me on how to score the drunk cougar at the dive bar, because that is a bucket list item of mine.
