I think the coaches liked Kristic but after his injury last night I think he will be out for the season. That may not be so bad. He heals and gets an entire iff season the put on muscle and learn the D. If he goes on the PS he might get claimed.

He probably would have made the team. Now either Alex Joseph takes his spot or they use the extra roster spot on Wragge or even Phillip Adams. Should be interesting...
cornerbacks def carry more value than linebackers, cutting Adams is gonna be a real difficult decision. I really hope he sticks and gets healthy

I agree. Plus he can't be on the PS. I think he may end up making the roster but could be a guy who could get released week to week. Also, if Spencer is not healthy for week 1 that would improve Adams chances of making the team.

ummm, Williams is making it over Colin Jones, he has played much better than Him and Dashon.

Norris is likely not going.

Long i doubt makes it.

Lawrie isnt eligible for PS.
when is the deadline for final roster cuts?

What has Goldson shown us this year that indicates he can play well for us? Is he a possible cut?

I would not be shocked if he is the surprise cut. I think Madeiu Williams may have beaten him out at FS and if Reggie Smith can get healthy before the season, Goldson could be gone...

This is a very good list. Though, I still think Ian Williams will PROBABLY get cut.

Nice list--hope it happens

I'd take out WR Johnson and add in LB Joseph

I think Norris, Wragge, Person (PS), RoJo (PS?), and Zeigler are gone. I think Kristik and Costanazo (sp?) are in an either/or situation. I think they hold onto Phillip Adams (strong, fast, instinctive CB, that just needs a few more weeks to be 100%. You don't quit on promising young CBs), Ian Williams (potential starting-caliber NTs don't stay on the PS), and Applewhite (or a waiver-wire pickup; they need at least 4 OLB to start the season). Spillman probably makes the team, since Colin Jones has disappointed as a ST ace, and Spillman is dece at S in a pinch.

Norris and Wragge make it, Wragge is so versatile. Keep Kristick, 5 WRS. and some how keep Ian Williams

Snyder is 5 positions of versatility now, and Kilgore is the new Wragge (intended to back up 3 interior OL spots). W/ Boone at swing tackle, Snyder as utility, and Kilgore available if two interior guys go down, the team can build for the future while openin up roster spots at other positions. On top of that, Wragge was still available after TC started, so they can call him if they need him during the season. Norris is missing WAY too many blocks (he can't sift through traffic, so he is completely useless on all zone plays, pass protections, an even a lot of gap/iso plays. Basically, he is good for power, when he has a straight line to his block, and it's always the same guy. We don't run enough of those in a game to keep him.

I wouldn't exaclty call sucking at Center as being versatile. I mean, this would mean ICE is also versatile. We can use him as backup full back.

Not saying Snyder is a great center, but he hasn't been dramatically worse than Goodwin.

your right, but its not always about keeping the best players... sometimes good players get cut, and I guarantee you a good safety whether it be Reggie Smith, Goldson or Williams, one will get cut. If we keep Williams he will just sit on the bench and do nothing, Colin Jones will play special teams and will be good at it IMO... he is fast.

After this last game I could see Norris sticking around, in fact I could see him taking Longs spot and this team only going with 5 WR's. Or Long gets cut and we keep Person on O-line.

If we do keep 6 WRs, Lance Long has to be the guy, he's outperformed (although not by much) all other WR's auditioning for that 6th spot.

I thought Lawrie was a rookie, but your right he's not eligible.
I am strangely very excited about the cut down to 53 players. To see who makes it and who doesn't, but also that the season is about to begin!
