If Goldson doesn't lower his asking price for NE, a freakin playoff-caliber team, then he's really lost his marbles. If he swallowed his pride and took less money, that defense will make him look better, then he can demand more $$$$ through them or FA in a year or two (depending on length of contract).
I dunno, I have a feeling Goldson won't end up in NE because his pride (and agent) are unlikely to accept less money no matter what team. After all, that's their goal since last off-season, cash in now before it's too late (that Goldson is NOT an elite safety), why change it now?

he tweeted that he was taking a physical...dont players only take physicals after they agree to terms with a team right before signing? that leads me to believe that he will sign with the pats early this week

Good for him if he signs there. I ain't hating. He'll have to sign a franchise friendly contract if he goes there, though. No way the pats get taken advantage of.

Actually, I thought players took a physical for every team they visit. I thought it was one of the first things they did.

Such an overrated player, glad he is gone. There is a reason this guy hasnt signed yet, i wouldnt want him starting on my team.
