some of us still had hope... till we lost to the panthers.. (unless the panthers loss was week 5)

Right, I guess after the win against OAK, we could have been 'relatively' close if we won at Carolina, but that wasn't my point.

I'm just fed up with being out of the playoff race before November. Hopefully this year will be different.

There was so many annoying things last year that it's hard to choose. I guess I'm going with Singletary since everything leads to his "go back and watch the film" ass.

how can you post all those things and not mention alex smith? he was, and is the most annoying, frustrating, disapointing thing to ever hit the 49ers! its a good thing my tv didnt break when i punched it while watching him do his best qb impersination, cause id be sending his overpaid ass the bill! my answer, and the only obvious answer.....
ALEX SMITH!!!

Well, this one can apply to the last 6 years.(I'll discount the year he was injured)

Last year we were expected to win the division, so it tops all previous seasons.

There will be. I have confidence in that at least. And for that matter, the beginning of our schedule coupled with the fact that no-one has any film on Harbaugh should equate to us eeking a few close ones at the start of the season. It's the middle of the season that I'm worried about.

that is what I was saying in another thread, we will be like seattle was for half of last year, when tey were beating people they had no reason to beat.

Great minds think alike
Unlike most on here, I dont get to watch every game. So the most annoying thing from last year would have been those 3 on Thursday night football. Made my ears bleed.

More than anything else, THAT was the one thing all of my Saints friends laughed at and I had to listen to...

How ridiculous and embarassing for a team that can not even get their plays in to the QB on time....

I kind of like the 9 men on the field and 12 men situations, we had way too many of those.
Lack of in game adjustments, preparation, and proper play calling.
In no particular order:

A. That power running play up the middle where Morgan motions over and squats. I think Gore got some big ones early and Sing was too stupid to realize that once a play in ran, especially if successful, defenses are all over it.

B. Singletary playing favorites and putting in Rachal over Snyder.

C. The QB jumbling.

D. "I'll have to look at the film."

E. Clements' fumble against ATL... I was also screaming for him to run out of bounds. 3 kneel downs and a FG ices that game. A Td gives them a chance to comeback anyway with plenty of time. Very very frustrating for a long time fan to know the situation and what to do better then a pro. In the end, its on Sing to let the players know the situation. At that point, they need coaching, not motivation. f**king Sing!

F. A.Smith's fumble against Eagles. That's some JT O Sullivan s**t right there.

Lack of adjustments and our innate desire to turn the ball over at the worst possible times. At least 4 losses because of idiotic turnovers.
The run up the gut (unless we're playing Arizona)
