Heitmann's had a good Niner career...but, unless something rather wierd happens, it's probably all but over. It wouldn't surprise me a bit to see Baalke draft an OG...or maybe a younger version of Snyder, someone capable of playing multiple positions and have AS as his starter at RG. Unless Rachal does a huge 180, I don't see him staying in the lineup...he's just not where he should be and it really hurt Anthony Davis this past season. AD didn't have a reliable linemate next to him and that's really bad for a rookie.

Does anyone else kind of feel bad for her? I mean that takes some balls to get up there and do that and for her to get hurt, I just don't feel comfortable making fun of her. These damn 49ers have my emotions all twisted up..........

Heitmann and Staley were both names that were irreplaceable when they were injured, when they came back they both seemed very replaceable IMHO.

Heitmann is unlikely to play football in 2011 after undergoing neck surgery recently. It will be Heitmann's second lost season in a row; he missed 2010 with a fractured left fibula and the neck complications. The latest surgery was to repair a ruptured disk in the neck. (Free agent David Baas just got more leverage.) Heitmann's timetable for recovery has been optimistically set at six months. His agent says Heitmann's "hopes are to play as soon as he's cleared."
