I don't think Heitmann will be retained. Baas should easily be re-signed and he looks like the C of the future. He fits the mold of a Harbaugh OL (big, mobile and he's young) Heitmann is smaller and doesn't fit JH's style. He's getting old and injury prone, time to move on.

No news other than he's under contract for $1.95 million in 2011.

Why the hell would you get rid of Heitmann? At the very least, he would make a solid backup. If Adam Snyder can remain on the roster at 2 M, the same can be said about Heitmann when there's no salary cap.
Besides, Harbaugh's scheme may actually prefer Heitmann at RG instead.

Now that Rachal's daddy is gone, we might actually see some decent production out of the RG spot. Heitmann or Snyder are EASILY the better option. How Rachal was able to hold his starting spot this long blows the mind. Blows the mind and melts the face like 90% pure cocaine!

Heitmann and Staley were both names that were irreplaceable when they were injured, when they came back they both seemed very replaceable IMHO.

Heitmann's had a good Niner career...but, unless something rather wierd happens, it's probably all but over. It wouldn't surprise me a bit to see Baalke draft an OG...or maybe a younger version of Snyder, someone capable of playing multiple positions and have AS as his starter at RG. Unless Rachal does a huge 180, I don't see him staying in the lineup...he's just not where he should be and it really hurt Anthony Davis this past season. AD didn't have a reliable linemate next to him and that's really bad for a rookie.
