I don't even think he's credible to be a motivational speaker anymore. All his talk is hot air because he couldn't get it to work for himself.
I also think his career in NFL coaching is over at any level, except for in CHI...well...unless he wants to put the time in to actually learn the game and begin his own playbook. It's almost as if he only puts in the minimum time because he's a family man.
However, he could possibly be OK as an analyst because of how he speaks. He could be the next Madden.
"Boom! Now that was a hit! Quick, put up the telestrator and let's look at the film AND draw on it!"

Good things re: Sing
- Vernon Davis turning the corner
- Changing the culture from a "hidden behind the back undermining BS" to an open straight forward culture. Seemed like Nolan was a little btch in the locker room. Sing, almost to a fault, tells it like it is. Gotta give him that.

All three QBs are crappy. Nate Davis doesn't get a shot.

tells it like it is? Lets go back to Monday. "At this time I have not decided who the starting QB will be against Seattle. That is something that will be evaluated later on during the week(probably after looking at more film
) 2 hours later "Alex Smith will be the starting QB" Oh and this came from Jason La Confora (did I spell that right?) the official release wasn't until Tuesday.

it isn't incapacity to tell it like it is that characterizes Sing the best...in front of the cameras and to the media, Sing will never ever ever ever ever give in, he's a fighter, as a player - a hall of famer with a bigger heart than almost any of us...and publicly, will never ever point the finger at someone else (exception: nationally televised games when the team is imploding and in the heat of the moment doesnt consider the camera's might be watching let alone the rest of the country)
Sing's biggest downfalls as a HC are his knowledge and ability to handle any in-game situation(when to kick a FG as opposed to punt, when to go for it, etc.) ...
also his inability to identify the precise moment to adapt and adjust when the game plan goes awry..any adjustments, minimal as they may be, made, are almost always after the fact

Great defense...where has it been? Other than against 'Zona, who really didn't show up for the game...maybe vs Da Raidas before they discovered their running game and solid defense.
Here are the negative things that IMHO far outweigh any positives:
- He hired Jimmy Raye
- He fired Mike Martz
- He's stuck in an 80's football mentality
- He's incapable of making any in-game adjustments
- His clock management is horrible
- He gets out-coached every Sunday
- He's instilled absolutely no killer instinct in his team
- He's stubbornly stuck w/Rachal when Snyder's the best option at RG...especially alongside a raw rookie in AD
- His ignorance of X's and O's
- For all his supposed speaking skills, he appears inept at press conferences

I will add,
-He got rid of Hill to give Alex a "warm fuzzy"

Even then, the motivational speaking thing only works if the team is doing well or if it's the start of a whole new season.
At 0-5, there's only so much motivational speaking that will get you the wins that you need. At that point, the primary strength of Singletary is just for nothing.

enough with the clown!
Sing drafted Nate .
Why wouldn't he want him in?
It's not Singletarys' fault that Nate Davis can't read gooder.
He forgets the plays that they tell him to run within 20 seconds of convo.
They call that nigga , Radio.
''You ma mammm mm make mee happay!''
