The 49er fans at the game should boo real hard on his first bad throw like last week and hopefully he has a great game like last week.
Alex seems to be playing with a chip on his shoulder. He seems pised off all the time and he is playing at home. As long as he doesn't throw to crabtree I will be happy.
he better throw it to crabtree for a td

I was getting my boo on during the first two incompletions. I seemed to be the only one in my section.

37-20, Chargers.
Expect the Niners to score right away, but then struggle to put up points. Meanwhile, Rivers is going to trash our secondary.
Here are some stats regrading the better QB's in the league versus the Niners this year:
1) Brees- passer rating versus Niners- 108.9; for the year- 93.6
2) Cassell- passer rating versus Niners- 111.7; for the year- 98.4
3) Ryan- passer rating versus Niners- 67.3; for the year- 90.7
4) Orton- passer rating versus Niners- 96.9; for the year- 87.5
5) Freeman- passer rating versus Niners- 117.9; for the year- 87.9
6) Rodgers- passer rating versus Niners- 135.1; for the year- 98.5
All of these 6 QB's are ranked in the top 17 in the NFL. I did not list games played against QB's under the top 17 (Bradford, Hasselback, Moore, Anderson, etc.). In five of the six cases listed above, the Niners allowed the listed QB's to outperform their yearly average. If this case rings true again, and statistically it should, expect Rivers to have a monster game in the 110+ catagory (Rivers currently has a passer rating of 103.1, third in the NFL).
Since the Niners have allowed a passer rating average of 126.5 in the last two games against solid QB's (Freeman and Rodgers), I see no reason to believe they will be able to contain Rivers. Hence, the call for major bloodletting on Thursday.

With Willis and Spikes injuered, I want to see what LaBoy can do with more reps. I think this will be an important factor to disrupt Rivers timing.
