All this doubtfull Bull**** is ridiculous. Half the roster from New England is doubtful.

EDIT: Actually it is a tear in his plantar fascia ligament, which is that hard cord on the bottom of the foot. It runs from the heel bone up toward the toes. Gates has a tear in his just behind his big toe. It is incredibly painful to play with something like that. He has said if it gets any worse he will have to just shut it down until it heals.
Doubtful only means that a player will play but not at full speed and recognizes that the injury could be aggravated and take him out of the game.
This "injury report" stuff is an *cough* *cough* agreement with Las Vegas to help them set competitive betting lines. It has little to do with whether or not the player in question will suit up and play.
