Adam Schefter reports on the Broncos apologizing to the 49ers

the highlight of the article is this gem:

"their [the 49ers] offense is not highly sophisticated to where videotapes of a practice could help another team all that much"

haha what a joke that the whole NFL agrees on this

Jed needs to open an interview prior to the game tonight informing the press that Singletary is fired and then let Vernon Davis send Singletary to the locker room!
The above videos are auto-populated by an affiliate.
for reals lol

it seems the 49ers think this way

After they had heard about it, the 49ers were not concerned. For one thing, they won the game. For another, their offense is not highly sophisticated to where videotapes of a practice could help another team all that much.
Does it bother anyone else that McDaniel only got a 50K fine? It reminds me of the difference in sentencing between white collar crimes and blue collar crimes. League tries to play all "Holier than Thou" by slapping big penalties on players for little things, but one of their coaches is caught cheating and he gets a wimpy 50k fine. It's almost worth it to try and cheat when you consider what is at stake.

In my opinion, cheating on that level should be at least a one year ban from the NFL. In a 16 game season, one loss could have a huge impact. This isn't baseball or basketball.

I dont believe the disparity is based in racism, but I do think there is an element of master vs. slave feel in the NFL. Or at the very least, do as I say and not as I do.

All this BS talk about caring for the players and injury, yet all the owners and execs can think about is adding two more games to an already taxing season. It doesn't even make sense.

Definitely. And it even started the before the whole concussion thing. It started when the NFL started changing (or creating) rules based on something that happened to ONE player (their breadwinners).

Tom Brady gets a broken ankle (or whatever it was), now if a D-lineman gets driven to the ground he has to (fully) get up before attempting to make a tackle. And if pass rusher is in mid-tackle, and makes contact even so much as a split second after the ball's released it's roughing the passer. Physics be damned.

I remember when T.O. broke his ankle and then you couldn't make horse collar tackles anymore. Because Roy Williams should have just asked him to slow down so he can use proper form. And that doesn't even take into account all the numerous other ways they're attempting to handicap defenses.

It's becoming laughable.

It's football man....I'm all for enforcing penalties on those that intentionally try to hurt others....but injuries are a part of the game. People need to deal with it.

Love it or hate it qb's are seen as the teams cash cow, and face of the franchise. When it comes to local and national promotions qb's are often used more than not. The owners want all rules to protect that investment.

Yep. I'm aware that it's all about the money, but it's ruining the game.

You guys have it all wrong. Josh McDaniels needed confirmation of what he saw on film of the Niners offense, so he sent his buddy to tape their walkthrough.

Please tell me someone hasn't tried this joke yet.
