a game can end 0-0 and still be exciting, depends on the play. Soccer is nice because of the lack of commercials. Then again, because of that, they wear the ads.
Home game!

"The Niners were playing a very one-dimensional and predictable game, with Gore handed the ball on the majority of plays."

The hail mary pass is described as "speculative"!

Anyway, fun to read.

BTW, I sure was wrong about the crowd. On my system, when I paid attention, it seemed that the Broncos were getting the cheers, but everyone else in the world says it was 2-1 for the Niners. That makes more sense as the Niners were there early, mingled with people, gave interviews, etc.

2-1? Broncos getting the cheers?

That is crazy talk, I was at the game and it was easily 75% of the people rooting for the Niners. In fact, in my section there was a group of 4 from Denver and when the Broncos were leading and they were cheering people were telling them to shut up.
Great crowd!
My section was weird... they were primarily cheering for broncos as I felt the rest of the stadium. I could be completely wrong, because they cheered for the Broncos, then cheered when the 49ers scored too. They booed heavily when the broncos were on offense, but could not tell if they wanted to see the Broncos score. Maybe they thought they were booing the defense. My section was predominantly German, while we did have an English guy next to us.

For the first three quarters, they were cheering for the cheerleaders and Sourdough Sam more than the game, it was hilarious. Then the English guy leans over and says, "Well, I sure wouldn't fancy a conversation with any of them."

Overall, a good experience, but not sure I would come again.

out of the 30-40 people around me there were maybe 6 broncos fans and maybe 14-16 true niner fans and the rest were giants, patriots, and dolphin fans and most of them were cheering for the niners.

One of my favorite moments was when they would show the cowboys getting their ass kicked and the entire stadium laughing and cheering.
well are they not right? the gameplan was very predictable.. with all those runs down the middle.. we need to spice things up :)
