It's like some other dude has been sayin' around here, we got a shot at 7-7 a week before Christmas, and our season could depend upon those last 2 division games (cause there's a high possibility of the NFC West being neck-and-neck around then).

No kidding I don't see how anyone in their right mind would make that prediction.

I know a team that lost 6 in a row then went on to 5 in a row. It can happen. Odds arent good but its possible

In pretty much every game, 9rs make the opponent play towards our game. which is pound it out and see who's really tough. All games we should of won, but since we keep turning the ball over and keeping the 9r defense tired. Winning is impossible with those ingredients.
There's no doubt if we can hold on to the ball, we can win all games.

It's cute how so many need to be negative in order to cushion the blows. We have a pretty good chance of being that 0-5 team that won the division. Rams/Seahawks/Card still have to play one another, too, so by the time we hit the bye week we can very realistically only be a game out of first with the ability to hold our own fate

They could also be 4-7 or so...while I agree we should be able to beat the teams ahead on the schedule, the question is will they stop beating themselves. The Rams are a much better team now...can't assume we'll beat them any more. Bradford looks like the real deal and their defense, aside from the shellacking they took from Detroit, has played pretty well. Denver and 'Zona won't be cake-walks, either.

And I can be president. Will I? Probably not.
Again, this team still needs to show us that they can win 10:00 local time road games. They got two in a row. If they're 3-5 heading into the bye, I'll start sipping the kool-aid.

Is the Bronco game really gonna be a 10:00 am game for them though. IT will air here at 10:00 am but what will be the time in London. Will it be a night game over there?

You know, some would argue that Howie Dean should have won. But, he didn't quite execute well enough to seal the deal and get the win. Sound familiar?

I think it's a 7:00 London time game. I know that's it's a 5 or 6 hour difference from London to the East Coast (where I live).
Still though, it's a 10:00 local time (meaning SF time) game for them - something that has been extraordinarily difficult for them.

I don't see a team confident enough to rattle off a 5-6-7 game winning streak at this point. If we can pick off three in a row, maybe we get some mojo back. Confidence and aggressive play on both sides of the ball is our only hope. Hoping to play error free football and win by a field goal will just get us a bunch of late losses and frustration like it did with Nolan, and now Singletary.
I don't see how. They lost to the LIONS of all teams.
Hopefully our team doesn't fall on their sword against our Division rivals. Except for this season so far, our team seems to get up for Division games.

Don't let the Lions 1-5 record fool you...they've been close in most games, and with their b/u QB (Hill). They got totally ripped off by the officials WRT the TD Calvin Johnson caught, but wasn't given credit for. Stafford's back this week...just watch that team in the 2nd half...they'll be tough. The Rams have some real hope now...something they just haven't had the past few seasons. That alone can make them a much tougher team to face.

Can we just take it one week at a time. Watch the next time we lose, which could be this weekend don't kid yourself, all these threads will become moot points.
We are not out of the woods yet.
