Don't think the Ram's game is an easy win.
we just have to cover the underneat bradford checks down a lot and goes for those short passses
Bradford can sling it down the field in a hurry too. He's very accurate and is quick getting the ball out. It's not going to be simple covering him and stopping Steven Jackson at the same time. Thank god they don't have a marquee receiver. They will sign a bigtime free agent or take a receiver in the 1st round next year.

St. Louis is looking pretty formidable with Bradford and Jackson behind center. If they trade for Vincent Jackson...they'll be tough.
Agreed. The Lambs have some confidence building and they aren't gonna lay over and die anymore.

I am glad that we won the game today but fior the love of god quit looking ahead
Slow down!!!!! We just won one game and need to control ourselves
Let's get to 2-5 first and then worry about the next game
One step at a time.....
16-0!!!
23-0!!! Championship plus preseason!!!!!
This thread makes me

and
I sometimes get

as to why Mods allow this kind of projection to take place.
Perhaps this is what Niner Talk is for. A chance to dream wild dreams.
One win does not portend to a 7-7 record by Christmas morning.

9-7 or 8-8 wins this division. Does this make sense?
Sun 10/24 @Panthers
Sun 10/31 Broncos
BYE
Sun 11/14 Rams
Sun 11/21 Buccaneers
Mon 11/29 @Cardinals
Sun 12/5 @Packers
Sun 12/12 Seahawks
Thur 12/16 @Chargers

Sun 12/26 @Rams
Sun 1/2 Cardinals
agreed....GB and SD i had as losses but now im thinking we could beat either one....but those 2 i have as losses and also 1 more game (maybe DEN or a fluke game in there). I still say 9-7 to 8-8 and a division win without help from teams like the care bears or chargers today....that was sad. Help us out a little

agree
Yeah. It's tough to pick us to win 6 of the next 8 when in each game, except Carolina and Arizona, we'll have the vastly inferior QB. We'll have to play tight D and limit the turnovers as we did today. Even if our offense can put up 17 points per game, our D is gonna have to play lights out the rest of the way. It's gonna leave such an acrid taste in my mouth when we play St. Louis knowing that we have to gameplan to defend against Bradford AS WELL AS gameplan to not put Alex into a situation where he can lose the game for us. Yuck...

Every team on our remaining schedule are circling the game with us as a win.

At this point I'm not getting my hopes up, this season has been truly depressing so far. An 8 point win against a crappy team at home is hardly anything to get giddy about, but at this point I'm just glad we're not winless. Now the ONE good sign today is that we didn't turn the ball over, if we keep that up then 7-7 or even better is thinkable. Bottom line is that the Niners still have a great shot at the division, they just haven't shown yet this year they're the team that's ready to claim that prize.
