7-7 on Christmas Morning -- I think that's a realistic goal

Shop Find 49ers gear online
6-2 over the next nine weeks puts us at 7-7 on Christmas with two division games to play. After that, we go on the road to STL the day after Christmas and come home to play Arizona in week 17.

9-7 or 8-8 wins this division. Does this make sense?

Sun 10/24 @Panthers
Sun 10/31 Broncos
BYE
Sun 11/14 Rams
Sun 11/21 Buccaneers
Mon 11/29 @Cardinals
Sun 12/5 @Packers
Sun 12/12 Seahawks
Thur 12/16 @Chargers

-----------------------------------------------------

Sun 12/26 @Rams
Sun 1/2 Cardinals
the only teams that should give us trouble are the broncos packers and chargers hopefully we can take 2 of those and win the rest

St. Louis is looking pretty formidable with Bradford and Jackson behind center. If they trade for Vincent Jackson...they'll be tough.
Anything less than a 10-6 season is a disappointment to me, I said it before the season and I still feel the same way. I don't think 9-7 will be enough to win the division. Go niners!
How do you figure 9-7 or 8-8 win the division? We have no fin clue what wins it. Rams get killed by Det and beat SD, Cards beat the Saints get beat by the Rams, Seattle kills us and beats the bears and the Chargers at home but gets beat by the Rams.

One week at a time, my friend...

St Louis and Arizona are showing they're no pushovers at home. The rest of our division have compiled a 7-1 home field advantage.

St Louis plays at Tampa and then home to Carolina. They could be 5-3 coming off a bye before they meet us. It's just impossible to project what's going on the West right now. One game the Rams are losing by 38 to Detroit the next game they beat up on San Diego.
we are 1-5 now, r u kidding me? we could beat the cards and the hawks but i'm awared of the rams.
let us lose the next two games in an embarassing way and get rid of sing...then we can talk one more time about some wins.
We did not play at all well today. Alex was very inaccurate and the penalty total exceeded the positive yardage total for most of the game. The coaching was laughably bad - 9 men on for special teams, then 12; the timeouts squandered way before half time.

I was pleased to see the defense play well. They limited Oakland to 179 yards total. I was happy for the team that they won. I'm usually an optimist, but I will be surprised if we are better than 2-14 on Christmas morning. SL and Seattle are playing way better right now. Zona too.

It's a bi-polar division, and the Sehawks just proved (today) they can win outside of the noise fortress.
Bradford > Smith

Don't think the Ram's game is an easy win.

Guys, we beat the Raiders. Let me repeat...we beat the RAIDERS. We were losing at halftime. Smith was getting booed. We had less than 50 yards of offense before the 2 minute warning. The Raiders were only able to muster 3 FGs the entire game.

It's gonna be a long season. Enjoy the win..........but dont expect too much for the rest of the season. It'll just make it a lot harder to swallow.

7-7? Really?

I am glad that we won the game today but fior the love of god quit looking ahead

Slow down!!!!! We just won one game and need to control ourselves

Let's get to 2-5 first and then worry about the next game

One step at a time.....
