He reminds me of a young Dixony Anthon.
Can we wait until he's played in a game or taken a snap before we try to compare him to someone?

Michael Turner of the Falcons and formerly of the Chargers. He's big and powerful yet more nifty on his feet than he should be for a man that size. Plus he has real good instincts and vision. He sees the field real well. I think his future is real bright. I don't see him only as a preseason one year wonder. I think Dixon is the real deal and we have to find a role for him. Which is good because Gore is getting slightly older (although still pretty young) and Gore has taken a lot of hits over the years. So maybe we can spot him some and extend the career of Gore and make him more effective going into the late season and post season.

Jerome Bettis is the closest comparison, but Dixon really has his own style.

As opposed to an older Dixony Anthon. I see what you did there.

I don't know who he truly reminds me of, but his long scoring run against the chargers, he sorta looked like Adrian Peterson, the way he was upright, but shifty and making cuts.

Why do we have to wait to compare?
The whole point is that he doesn't have a body of work in the NFL to really call his own.
As his body of work grows he will only be more and more comparable to himself.

Because he has done jack s**t...
I'm ALL for rooting for him to do well, but considering he has 0 yards, 0 snaps, 0 touchdowns, 0 receptions, there is nothing to compare! He's comparable to me because I have those same NFL statistics!

We are comparing running style NOT talent or career. Not like we have anything else to talk about until next Sunday...
