It was one game; pre-sea at that... a lot of good DB's get beat by Raider's speedy WR's (go ask any team in the STRONG AFC).
I'm sure our DB's will give up big plays in the regular season, but I don't expect they'll be as horrible as yesterday. Even the best get beat!
The secondary/schemes can and will be fixed in time for the regular season
"coaches coach/players play"
I want to see how well our DB's do against Saints/Packers/Falcons/Chargers.
I really hope Mays develops as fast as A. Davis/Iupati or faster. We need his speed and hard hits!
Hello Phillip Adams!!! Good-bye Karl Paymah... you sucked when we played you while you were in Minnesota last year and you are sucking now.

THERES NO PASS-RUSH.
Go back and watch the tape. If LaBoy isn't bring heat, the 49ers were routinely walled off.
I agree with that.. Laboy is doin good job that sack him.. I am sorry that campbell was injured it.. I hope Campbell was ok for health.. I think, Lawson is better than Haralson.. I know lawson is play too well.. whatever.. WE should cut Haralson..

They are both gave up the TD for us... Smith REggie didn't get a cover and bad play and goes same Michael Lewis....

Not sure about anyone else, but that's NOT the play I'm talking about.
I'm talking about Nate Clements being 8 yards off his WR then not even being in the picture screen when his WR makes the catch then turns up field for more yardage.
It's like just throw it outside and you're going to get a 10-12 yard gain EVERY time.
His coverage has down hill for two years now. He needs to pick his game up, especially considering his salary.
Also, I would agree that the Safety play was terrible lastnight as well. By the 3rd preseason game we should be seeing a fairly accurate representation of what we can expect to see from the starters and considering the years of experience we have between Clements and Lewis, we shouldn't see the likes of the Raiders backup QB march up and down the field.
Yea. I saw that nate was gave up for 8 yards off his WR on video relay. He is make mistake few time that is ok.. He didn't gave up the TD for us.. Reggie Smith was worst and gave up the TD from too much Yards and same Michael Lewis too! If who are have gave up the TD that is very cost for us and hurt us...

I had to do it (like a homer-just backing up my team)...
But at least Champ Bailey might agree

You are correct. I would start Mays and have Reggie come in on nickel. In fuse Mays' terror in the middle of the field. There will be some bumps at first..but the long haul will put us in the playoffs

The Niners secondary struggled against speed last year and that looks like it will be the case again this year.

Both TD's were on bad safety play. Two words.
Taylor Mays
None of those track stars will escape him. Mark my words. He will start. He will start soon. He will cause alot of dropped passes.
