I've never seen anyone celebrate 2nd-rate players like you do. You always try to come to the rescue with excuse after excuse for the guys you like on the team. Nothing is ever their fault. The blame always goes to other areas of the team.

That's a horrible average, and believe it or not, it's actually inflated due to some special teams trickery. He SUCKS as a RB. The man is on the team strictly for special teams and it needs to stay that way.

Whether or not that is a good average is not the point. I was just pointing out that it's ridiculous to say he's good for 2 yards per, tops. Which is what was said.

That being said 3.4 YPC is not a horrible ave, especially for someone that never really gets to touch the ball. Someone like Joseph Addai that ave'd 3.5 and 3.8 YPC the last two years, getting consistent attempts, with THAT passing game being the focus of the Defenses they played, is he horrible?

The numbers don't tell everything. In fact, for a RB that barely ever gets to touch the ball, they don't tell anything. Even if he has a 5.7 YPC average it wouldn't mean squat with the amount of attempts he has.

Taking that play out his average is still above 3 YPC, which is well above 2, being the whole point.

Do you even remember the play? Seattle was caught way off guard and it had more to do with their crappy ST awareness than Robinson's execution of the run. Anybody on the team that is allowed to touch the rock could have executed as well, and probably better, than Robinson did. He ran up the sideline.. If a player with more speed had ran it instead, it would have gone for at least 10-15 more yards.

And how many fakes does this team run? You made it out to be like that's all he does on ST.

Freakin amazing. 3 plays and and none of them huge rips. 33 yards is a non factor imho.

I would choose both the top and bottom options. If we DON'T sign a veteran (B. Westbrook, anyone?) then I can put my faith in the 49ers organization trusting either MRob or Dixon to handle the load. Hopefully Dixon will surprise us all!
