Do you trust Dixon or M-Rob to Start if Gore is Injured?

If Frank Gore gets injured/banged up again, I personally don't trust either M-Rob or Dixon to start. M-Rob can block and is an OK pass blocker, but don't expect him to pick up more than two yards, tops.

I'd like to keep both and pick up a veteran that can start if called upon. An intriguing option in my book would be Marshawn Lynch, who Buffalo is looking to unload. Either a conditional 4th, 5th, or 6th round pick would seal the deal.

I will take Dixon even though I have never seen him play.

Now that sounds like an informed opinion...

Well if my choices are MROB and Dixon, I would rather choose Dixon because MROB is very

Whoops -- should have been pass blocker.

As for stats, thats 289 yards, not carries. And over the past two seasons, M-Rob is averaging 2.36 YPC.

Mrob is small, slow and has no vision. Not a good for a rb.

M-Rob was a slow college QB with no arm. Why we thought a slow QB would make a good RB is a mystery to me.

Another prize pick from Scotty McG.

Right, he had less carries than that. I was looking at the wrong number.

Anyways his career aver is still 3.4 yards, he only has 22 attempts over the last two seasons, combined that is still less than his lowest number attempts in his other NFL seasons. That stat means nothing (in the first 23 carries of Frank Gore's 2009 he had 31 yards for an average of 1.41YPC, you gotta let a guy carry the ball a few more times to say what he can and can not do).

He isn't that small

He just isn't a good running back, that's his problem. He never played the position before becoming a 49er, and really hasn't since.
I trusted Dixon before Coffee retired. He was probay gonna pass him up on the depth chart anyways before the season started.
we need a legit #3 RB. i hate how it's always robinson and other. it should be dixon and a proven RB.
I didn't trust Coffee and M-Rob is not an RB regardless of what they try to play him as. I guess Dixon is my only choice because while why I don't know if he'll be good, I'm not sure that he sucks at the position either, which is more than I can say for M-Rob.
