Regardless of how Snyder looks, the 49ers would be wise to sign a veteran
like Kreutz, especially how the Bears how now moved on evidently.

i could careless how he looks in pre season. we wont' really know til live games. just like Baas last year. it's gonna be a wait and see approach.

last year kevin mawae was first choice to replace heitman--he is only a year older now---might they look at him when other f/a centers sign elsewhere?

You guys amaze me with your football knowledge. How come we just don't sign a vet who has been a center all his NFL career geniuses

Wragge and Snyder were in the competition last year with Baas. So, while they lost out to Baas at least they were seen as viable options.
Snyder has always impressed me with his tenacity. He may be a really good center as that position requires moxy. Can he get the ball to the QB consistently? Now there is a question! My estimate would be yes!

Snyder lost some weight, gained some strength.. He won't get beat around the corner as center, I hve faith.

So what do you expect the FO to do? They are trying to sign a center. Should we not have a back-up plan just incase we get turned down? Lets put all of our eggs in one basket and just say screw it.
