i don't know about you, but i think it's scary good to have a LB that Coach wasn't high on "P-dub", and NOW a LB that Coach absolutely effin loves "Bow". just imagine what Coach will do with him?

Spencer and Lawson both unhappy about their contracts..
Yeah where did you hear Spencer is unhappy with his contract

So NOW why is SPENCER unhappy???? You know this is BS. You signed an extension dude and now you're unhappy? I'm so over this. You f**king can't have it both ways. You can't sign a deal early in your career, suddenly become unhappy and miss practices because you're not happy with the deal mid-point through the contract? REALLY?
If you don't like the deal (extension) DON'T f**kING SIGN. Sorry for being pissed off but just tired of this foolishness. 49ers need to look for replacements in the secondary and on the DL. Tired of greedy players who haven't really proved anything but being able to be an 8-8 squad. Spencer has been to how many pro-bowls? Thought so.
I agree 100 percent with what your saying. However, I also think the Niners orginazation messed up by passing out too much money to unproven players like Haralson and Brooks. Some of the vets that have been around are now saying to themselves, WTF? I could see how a guy like Lawson would feel burned when he is making less cheddar than Haralson (the bust) and Brooks. It's one thing to extend guys like Willis and Staley. It's a whole other thing to pay guys who have only shown promise over a half of season.... I think thats one of the reasons we will have a lot of trouble signing Goldson. He wants to be paid like a perennial probowler when he has only had one probowl like season.
Haralson and Brooks did not get blockbuster deals. I really dont think much of it.
Relative to their production they made out like a bandit, imo.
BTW, I'm not really trying to argue about the money. I'm just saying that relative to their production they got good money and security. Player who have been far more productive (Lawson) are playing for next to nothing by league standards and have no security if they get injured in the violent sport of football. If Lawson really is asking for 40 million, let him walk. He might be worth it to some 4-3 team, but not us. However, I would like to see them work out some kind of a mini extention, like they did with Gore.
As for Goldson and Spencer? Spencer needs to shut up and play out his extenstion and Goldson has really pissed me off with his greed ass and I'm starting to root against him.
Is it me or does it feel like money is starting to tear our defense apart? (Franklin, Goldson, Spencer, Lawson)

Not really if you compare to other contracts. Haralson was coming off a 8 sack season and Brooks was coming off solid second half of the season.

shawntae better not be b***hin about his contract, he makes the odd play on the ball like he did in indy to prevent a td to reggie wayne, but other than taking a pick to the house in chicago 5 years ago i havent seen much of anything to see him deserve a new deal, start picking off passes and staying healthy

"Bowman middle blitz, in backfld to tap gore"--Skinny_Post, Twitter.
Watch out for this kid. He may just surprise everyone once the pads come on. He seems to have a knack to be around the ball.
I got one of my "want to hear"s...Bowman, will he stick out?
