So wtf happened? I just went through 4 pages to find out that people don't know the difference between personal and personnel, can somebody tell me what he said?

This guy on MM blog says that he thinks that Scot is an alcoholic and it makes sense. The guy is always red-faced. He does seem to make some decent personnel decisions, but he seems to hide behind the Coach. I know GM's don't talk a lot but he is like a ghost.

Great detective work there. I'm convinced.

I think working for the Yorks would turn the pope into an alcoholic.

Well, he is Irish so he must be an alcoholic. Seriously? Always red-faced makes him an alcoholic? Did you ever think that some people have a "ruddy" complexion, which means their skin tone tends to be reddish, which is common for the fair skinned people from the Emerald Isles of Ireland?

Looks like NFL.com can't figure out if it's personal or personnel either :
McCloughan no longer a 49er
Scot McCloughan is out as GM, said 49ers president Jed York, who called the parting 'mutual' and a 'private personnel matter.'

We'll probably be fine for the draft. Still such a bad time for the whole thing to happen
