If Hill chooses to stay and compete as opposed to asking for his release, it's entirely possibly he beats Carr out. Carr could conceivably not even make the roster at that point.
So before we start saying goodbye, let's see what happens with Hill first.
Hopefully Hill sticks around to compete because competition brings out the best in everyone.

Rams signed AJ Feely.
Is it disrespectful to try and push the guys you have ? If he is a true competitor he'd stick around and attempt to compete for his job. Obviously he has limitations (ie arm strength) but if he feels he is better than Carr than he should stay and prove the organization wrong.
