Remember when Larry Allen joined the team? I never thought an OG could make such a difference to a team. Allen lifted Gore to stardom, and made our power running game actually work. The point of this reflection is that I now recognize that the OGs are much more important to the running game that Sing wants to develop. While most posters are clamoring for a RT, Id prefer working some deal to aquire a bully of an OG. Baas and Rachal, while still relatively young, arent ready to produce in the NFL yet. And while improving the RT may help Alex in pass protection, its the OGs that are going to drive the running game. I dont want to wait 3-4 years to develop to a decent OG. Take a 2nd or 3rd round draft pick and give me a productive OG NOW!!!
