jets have 3 or 4 guys going to pro bowl and i think 2 are all pro we have 0 and 0 and possibly the bottom 3 in offensive line in all of nfl if i remember correctly u wanted us to draft mcclain and cody so what ur saying is that in order to get an o line like the jets we draft cody and mcclain?

we have a really good defense, we have a terrible OLINE, thus that needs to be upgraded, not that im opposed to McClain, but not 2 D players in rd 1.

I'm pretty sure the 49er coaches are thinking the same. It's not like they're saying let's build a soft defense and a lousy running game

Nothing wrong with building a dominant defense, but let's face it, the Chargers just wussied out. Jets have a rookie QB and all they can do is run Shonn Greene over and over, and the Chargers can't stop it???? Holy carp, I've never seen a team so not ready to play. Rivers looked like a JV player, and it wasn't because the Jets defense was so dominating. Count on the Jets and their "dominant" defense to bite the dust against their next opponent. All this game proved was that Norv's Chargers were the SOFTEST team in the playoffs. Nobody ran on them like this when Wade Phillips and Greg Manusky were still on staff, and Norv Turner wasn't.

Chargers suck in the playoffs.

haha what is this? maybe the jets have a good defense but they also have a knack for being on the other side of missed field goals...had the chargers made even one of their three missed field goals then the jets probably lose the game.

So the key to success is a dominating defense with a piss poor offense that can barely get first downs? If the Bengals or Chargers don't play dumb the Jets would be home watching the Playoffs right now. Heck, if the Jets didn't play two teams that were resting their starters they wouldn't even make the Playoffs. Three of the four top offenses are still alive and since the Colts will knock the Jets out next week, two of them will be playing in the Super Bowl.
