10 points seems a little low IMO. Philly has OWNED us in recent years.
Our DBs don't match up well with Jackson and their D is playing great. It might be a really long day for the Niners. I'd hate to see a repeat of the Falcon's game, but it could easily happen. I'm gonna predict with my heart and not my head here and say..........
Niners 24
Eagles 23

Philly will be a challenge, esp. with the way they have been playing the last few weeks. I think our defense can match up well with their offense (as long as our safety play their part). This Monday night, we showed what we're capable of defensively, but I wouldn't compare the Eagles offense with Arizona.
For starters:
1) They still have a very potent QB who can spread the field.
2) Jackson will be hard to cover (just glad that Macklin is hurt). This is where our primary problem will be (again, unless our safety(s) plays their part).
3) McCoy is a speedster but he is more of a side-to-side runner that will play to our front 7's strength. I see him getting some good runs but will not go for more than 100 in this game.
4) Their defense can impose thier style of play to us. I just hope that Raye is smart enough to not let it happen. Although a new coordinator is in place for them, they are still a blitzing team and I hope our OLine can compensate.
5) The way I see it, our defense can counter their offense so it will be up to our offense to shine vs. their defense.
I can see us winning this game, but it will be a hard game, esp. playing at the Vet.
Final score: 28 - 24 49ers

Wow. If we are only able to must 24 off 7 turnovers, I don't think we'll be managing even 30-plus without some sort of huge defensive or special teams TD return.
Constantly sacking McNabb and making him fumble is the only way we're going to walk away with a win.
Alex has to be smart with the ball, and we have got to be able to run. We need to control the LOS, basically. We do that, we can grind out a win. But I'll admit.. all I can be is hopeful right now.

An inconsistent West Coast team on a short week traveling to East Coast to play a morning game at one of the hardest stadiums in football to play in as a visitor against a very good team in weather that is supposed to be freezing with snow. 10 Sounds about right.

Nice looking score..... I can't remember the last time the Niners scored 40 points.

Living outside of Philly I watch every Eagles game- or at least hear about it all week. As much as people say this "has Atlanta written all over it" this is the EXACT games the Eagles typically crap the bed in. After big divisional games they almost always have a let down- granted its a trend across the NFL, but especially true for Philly under Andy Reid. I have no idea why but I cannot tell you how many times Eagles fans get hyped after one game and are so let down the next (sound familiar?)
On the other hand, the Niners know they cant lose- Im cautiously optimistic about sunday. Philly's O almost never shows in games like this- I think we have a shot
So it's a trend across the NFL for teams to have a letdown after a big divisional game?! That sounds like the 9ers as much as the Eagles!
This is a trap game for us. We're an inconsistent team to begin with. We've had trouble on the road (1-5 this year). We've had trouble for several years on the east coast. And we've been creamed by an average of 22 points the last three times we've played the Eagles!
Now we're coming off a big divisional win at home, so not only do we travel, but we do so with a short week! To me the spread should be bigger!
Still, I'll take the 9ers, because they need this game more than the Eagles! And if we're ever going to be a playoff team, we have to win the games we NEED more than our opponents!

The Vet is gone, the new stadium is Lincoln Financial Field.. If the Niners win I wil be MAJORLY impressed, but.. don't think it's likely..
I'll be watching though.
GO NINERS!!

It's tough to travel across the country to play a game. The Jags did it and lost to us. It's going to be very tough for the guys. If we can bottled most of what we had shown on MNF, and play like that at the Eagles, we will have a good chance.

I hate to be pesimistic; but, the last 3 times we played them we've lost by an average of 22 points and have given up an average of 40 points. We've scored an average of 18 points in these games.
Philly is in the top 1/3 of the league on both O and D. Were in then middle 3rd (2 out of 3)on D and the bottom 1/3 on O (3 out of 3). They have scored an average of 31 points in their last 5 games and we've scored an average of 19.
I think we lose this one 17 to 30...
I think D. Jackson will score 6 TD's on both Offense and Special Teams combined. We are in big trouble. I don't think we can keep up with this team. Not even close.
You HAVE to be kidding/exaggerating here. Seriously??
i think some one has a certain player on their fantasy team
cause 6 tds makes no senses

I see this game more like the Atlanta game. Philly is playing good ball right now. And at home they tend to be tough. We seem to only put one or a few good games together and then go back to our bad ways. We are due to get blown out IMO. We could easily lose this game by 40 or more points.
This has "Atlanta game" written all over it. Or like going into Chicago that one year. I just see this as a blow out game. I will be surprised if we keep it close.
Now im not saying we are the best team in the world but give the Niners some credit, other than the Atlanta game all the games they have lost have been under 7 points. They have held their own against some of the better offenses this year, like the Colts, Packers, and Texans.
I think this will be a close game, the Niners will have a chance to win this game hopefully they step up again and get that W, I will be rooting for them.
I see almost no chance at all of winning this one but I hope we do.
You are such a piece of sh*t! I have not seen one post from you that ever says anything positive. Oh an don't give the "I'm just being real" bullsh*t. You are a hater to the T. I hope to run into you one of these days at Typhoon Saloon in PB for a game and put you in check. Turn your Niner card in at the door and show yourself out.
BOOM goes the dynamite.
I'm surprised he still posts at all since he thought we were going to go 1-15 this year. But come on, he's good for laughs and only slightly less annoying than Jar Jar Binks.
