I see this game more like the Atlanta game. Philly is playing good ball right now. And at home they tend to be tough. We seem to only put one or a few good games together and then go back to our bad ways. We are due to get blown out IMO. We could easily lose this game by 40 or more points.

This has "Atlanta game" written all over it. Or like going into Chicago that one year. I just see this as a blow out game. I will be surprised if we keep it close.

Now im not saying we are the best team in the world but give the Niners some credit, other than the Atlanta game all the games they have lost have been under 7 points. They have held their own against some of the better offenses this year, like the Colts, Packers, and Texans.

I think this will be a close game, the Niners will have a chance to win this game hopefully they step up again and get that W, I will be rooting for them.

I see almost no chance at all of winning this one but I hope we do.

You are such a piece of sh*t! I have not seen one post from you that ever says anything positive. Oh an don't give the "I'm just being real" bullsh*t. You are a hater to the T. I hope to run into you one of these days at Typhoon Saloon in PB for a game and put you in check. Turn your Niner card in at the door and show yourself out.

BOOM goes the dynamite.

I'm surprised he still posts at all since he thought we were going to go 1-15 this year. But come on, he's good for laughs and only slightly less annoying than Jar Jar Binks.

Someone stop the chunky delivery to mcnabb's.

Next time you're in bed with his momma do something about that.
We'll be at a disadvantage because we played Mon night, short practice week, the travel and time difference. That's enough to overcome, let alone the fact Philly's been lighting up the scoreboard. Our D's good enough to keep us in the game, but back-to-back strong efforts is a lot to ask. Eagles won't turn it over much, so we'll have to earn any pts we get. Off the top of my head, I'd expect a 27-16 Eagles game, but that's just a WAG. It could also be a Philly blow-out, but I'm hoping our guys can make it a game.

Alex Smith needs to have a strong game for us to win. He needs to consistently hit on 2nd and 3rd downs to obtain 1st downs. He can't throw 2 INTs and still come away with a win like against Arizona.

TOP and turnovers will be a key indicator for the team that wins today. If we can chew the clock, run a balanced offensive attack, and provide consistent pressure on McNabb, we can win.

If we fail to do any of that, it will be VERY hard to win this game.

Question for you...

Wasnt AZ lighting up the scoreboard for 4 weeks straight before this past Monday night?

Didnt the D play very well against Jax, Sea and Ari respectively?

Why cant they play well against the Eagles? What does the Eagles 45 against a Giants defense thats nowhere near as good as ours (and thats spoken str8 from die hard Giants fans to me since im on the east coast) have to do with what we can do against them?

And yes for all you pissy a$$ whiners out there...

Our defense is pretty damn good...maybe not top 5 yet...but they are pretty damn good.

Sounds about right. We are a bad team and Philly has been good for a long time.

Philly is way too inconsistent to be 10 favorites.

I hate to be pesimistic; but, the last 3 times we played them we've lost by an average of 22 points and have given up an average of 40 points. We've scored an average of 18 points in these games.

Philly is in the top 1/3 of the league on both O and D. Were in then middle 3rd (2 out of 3)on D and the bottom 1/3 on O (3 out of 3). They have scored an average of 31 points in their last 5 games and we've scored an average of 19.

I think we lose this one 17 to 30...

I don't know how well you remember the game last year but, that score was completely blown out of proportion as we got screwed at the goal line costing us a 14 point swing. The game last year was far closer than the score indicated.

Agreed, people seem to forget the 49ers also played Indy and Minn very tough(2 elite teams) and they should've won both of those games.
So I see the 49ers playing Philly tough this weekend.

GO NINERS!
