L.A. 49ers

If they move to LA, they need to change the team name. The 49ers need to
forever rep the bay. Example: Ravens and Browns story. LA would not own 5 championship trophies. Those trophies belong to the Bay Area Niner fans and the San Francisco 49ers.

The Niners are the Bay Area's team. f**k moving this team to LA. It belongs in the Bay Area.

Been in SoCal all my life. Always loved the Niners. They need to stay in SF.

How am I going to explain this to my kids 12 years from now when/if they show an interest in football to be a 49ers fan? I have no backbone anymore and history doesn't mean jack if they are not called the SAN FRANCISCO 49ers. It will be hard enough because I am from New Jersey, but my dad is from San Mateo so that is why I am a 9ers fan.

They are going to say "Daddy, why should I be a supporter of the 49ers, I live near Philadelphia and they are not called the SF 49ers anymore. Stop calling them that daddy!"

I don't even know if I can support a team from L.A. (I will anyway if the niners do move don't worry). The freakin Rams used to be there! How embarrassing. We're getting tossed around like some whores of the NFL!

If they were to move to L.A, I'd be donating all of my 49ers gear to charity and become just a "fan of the game".

I support my 49ers, but i have no love for the city of San Francisco. No offense, but you people are sorriest excuse of a fanbase in the entire league. This team put your city on the map in terms of sports; it brought you 5 trophies, glory, history, and some fo the greatest players the sport has ever seen. Even with all that, you people are the cheapest, most thankless, mofos on the face of this earth. In all honestly, you dont deserve a sports franchise in SF, and it the logo wasnt so attached to the team (and its history), Id be all for moving it to LA.

With that said, it's obvious the people of San Fran arent willing to dish out wnough dough to build a stadium. So unless the team moves out, the best case scenario is to invest in Candlestick and get it revamped (ala Lambeau field). Just fix up the seating and the field, and give the retarded fans what they've been asking for all these years..........cupholders.
