Feel like it was just yesterday watching that draft. I remember when they traded back into the 1st hoping they were getting Alan branch lol
They dint make them like those 2 above anymore
f**k man. I don't like these feelings... Joe been with us through the bad and good and was a model teammate. Like seriously. I think it's dumb to idolize athletes but if there's anyone Joe...and with that picture Patrick, are the epitome of good people. Say good bye to the past eras boys. It's the Lynch and Shanahan era now. Let's hope for a dynasty.

Lol yeah was not a fan of those
Thank you Joe Staley for all your hard work, commitment and dedication in Playing this game for our San Francisco 49ers team. You gave your best and left it all on the Field.
Also, thanks for being a great role model and even a better person both on and off the field. Thanks again.
This one got me.

Frank even changed his profile pic too. I love these 2 guys

What's gonna be so bitter sweet is if we win the SB and all it took is for the final guy from Harbaugh's regime not including the LS to finally get over the hump. I can imagine Staley going to the facility cleaning day saying wtf guys

I still remember cutting cookies in the riding lawnmower listening to the 49ers drafting Willis. Then later wondering if trading back to get Staley was a good move as a left tackle. Hindsight dictates they were both perhaps the best 2 picks in the first round in franchise history.
Any chance they bring him on as an assistant OL coach? I'd imagine this year would be as good as any to get get him that SB ring, even if it's from a coaching standpoint

Was thinking the same. They should. Kyle said that the door is always open to Staley if he wants to come back in any capacity.
