Beautiful statement. Class act all the way.

I don't think we were aware of the neck issues, so his decision to reture makes even more sense in that context.

Thank you Joe. You personify professionalism and class. We will miss you.
Come nack to be a assisting oline coach
Congrats and enjoy retirement.
My favorite player since I started really watching the 49ers in the mid 2000s
How about that block in the Saints NFC Divisional game... Joe goes pulling left and flying down the field laying out a beautiful block leading the way for Alex on that epic TD run
You will be missed but never forgotten. We love you JOE!
Thanks for everything Joe
Pity we never got you that ring.
Thank you Joe Staley!
Thank you Joe! It was a privilege to watch you play. We will see you again in 5 years getting your gold jacket
One of my favorite 49ers of all time. (I was a HS frosh for SB 16 for reference) Great player, better person. You can't ask for more as a fan.
Such a great guy. Met him and Alex Smith at a stanford wrestling meet and they signed autographs for any kids who asked. Once kids started going overboard and it overshadowed the matches they left so the focus could go back to the wrestlers. Both were great guys.

Its gonna be a blast to listen to him as a broadcaster. He's already a natural in front of the camera.
Joe is one of the very few 49ers to make to the 10 year wall.
