It's the most popular thread, don't see the mods locking it for the entire year.

Besides, he cost us a 1st rd pick and I hope he never signs w/ us and loses a ton of $$$$. Greedy *** deserves it!

That's interesting. I thought back about 100 pages or so you said Crabtree was going to sign, and you had inside sources. So, are you saying that wasn't true?

I've seen other people claim that Crabtree was gonna wait 'til the last possible moment before the game vs. ARZ to sign so he's not deducted a game check. I guess they were wrong too...as was most of us and Singletary/McCloughan to draft him. What a waste of a 1st rd pick!
for those of you who believed when i said my "sources" said Crabtree was gonna sign.......... actually i dont even know what to say to you.

I want Crabtree to sign, I honesty believe he will end up signing this year, I dont think he is really that dumb to take his chances on next years draft

Crabtree will sign he will be a 9er for the next 4-5 years and he will score 10+ Tds for us every year

Yea, Happy Birthday Michael Crabtree.

Rather than it being sweet, it is full of bitterness.

I hope you like sitting and watching the games on the couch while eating your cake.

What a fool!

found this interesting nugget. Al Davis has already called out Neon Deion and now this report SF Gate

Originally posted by John Crumpacker, SFGate.com:
The NFL Network's Deion Sanders, who - in his playing days - was represented by the same agent as Crabtree, Eugene Parker, said two teams contacted the 49ers about trading for the wide receiver. The timing of Sanders' claim was ridiculous because the trading deadline for the rights to rookies already had passed.

The 49ers responded by saying no conversations with other teams occurred. A 49ers spokesman said the club had no comment about whether it might pursue tampering charges against the two teams that Sanders, technically an employee of the NFL, said had expressed an interest in Crabtree. That is, if the teams actually did contact Crabtree.

Al Davis called out Deion???

What did he say?

It was during the Richard Seymour introduction news conference. Al basically called Sanders a disgruntled employee with out a shred of credibility.
I dont want him anymore...it's too late now, keep his rights and trade him on draft day, let someone else pay his price and watch him fail miserably ...Karma is a b***h and it will catch up to him and slap him in his face ...let the greedy b*****d rot
