The bigger news would be they dumped Keasey.
Which in itself is cause for celebration.

The guy got 2yrs 6M for a reason...he's not a bad player, maybe he was just a bad fit in Miami? I'm sure we didn't take a risk finacially why not see what he's got? That's what camp is for.

Didn't the Dolphins just sign him?
He signed a 2 year deal worth 6 million this year with Fins. I also read on rotoworld.com that he was picked on a lot in camp this year.
He must of stunk it up in training camp to get the boot already. I hope he doesn't do the same here.
Dolphins released CB Eric Green.
Here's who Troy Williamson burned all over the field Monday. The Fins gave Green a "two-year," $6M deal in March, but he was picked on relentlessly in camp and appears to have lost his confidence. Rookie Sean Smith is locked in to start at right corner, and Jason Allen will probably make the final 53.

Saw that post too.
Is he really an upgrade over Spencer, Brown or Hudson?
Over Brown, not sure, Spencer and Hudson, Yay baby, Spencer is terrible, and should be cut/traded after 2009, and Hudson isnt that good either IMO, so not a bad signing.
our DB's for 2009 IMO are
Clements
Bly
Brown
Green
Spencer
Lewis
Goldson
Roman or Smith
Taylor

Never underestimate the power of Coach Sing's inspirational abilities.

Who gets cut? Hudson? Is Lewis's injury more serious than we've heard?

Didn't we try to sign him earlier in the offseason, but he chose the Dolphins instead? I can't remember...
I think this is bad news for Hudson. Can't see him and Green both making the 53.
