he could plat cb on another team or move to free safety also but i think already Bly and now Brown are ahead of him and maybe even spencer by the time he comes back. Harris is still good but we have good depth and younger depth

When he gets 100% healthy again, he may try to come back. But, given a CB's lifeblood is his legs, the odds may be somewhat against him. If he wants to continue playing, he may have to move to S. No matter what happens, he's been a good player for us and I wish him well.

I think the guy is gonna pull through and shock the world. I predict Walt Harris being a starting niner well into his forties.

If he is done,I would say he was a great deal for us.Now it is time to use one of those two draft picks and grab up Eric Berry to replace him in next years draft. The kid is awesome,he is a ballhawk and can play any of the defensive back positions as well as return punts, the kid averages 40+ yards a return on interceptions!I know you west coast guys like that USC kid,but if you look at the stats,Berry is a far superior DB.

Walt Harris' time with the 49ers was much better than I expected when we signed him. Good job Nolan. That said, I believe he is done. Hopefully Dre Bly will prove he can give us 3 good years but if not Terrell Brown will be a capable starter.
