I have a feeling that if the DNA tests come back and it's Vrabel kid (s) instead of Diana's husband ....... that would be an inflection point of no way Vrabel can remain the coach this year bc that is a level of drama that is going to trigger just about everyone

That's true, but don't all these NFL coaches and players have s**t like that going on in their lives we don't hear about? Vrabel and Russini fucked up, but that shouldn't cost them their jobs. IMO.

I mean a NFL HC dating a NFL Insider is pretty bad let alone the affair. That's with all the scandals the patriots have accumulated under their belt I doubt they want to keep him.

From what I understand , Vrabel doesn't have a conflict of interest if he bangs a reporter . Hence why he hasn't stepped down or Pats haven't fired him . If they do move on from each other , it would be more to save face with public sentiment . Some say leaking info would be a conflict of interest for Vrabel (but not the sexual relations )

Reporters on the other hand do have a conflict of interest / media ethics that oppose her sleeping with people she is reporting on (think of AJ Brown situation where if she pushes a narrative that he is a cancer and it drives down his value in a trade to a team she is banging the coach )

explains why she resigned as soon as people started to investigate a conflict of interest
Imagine being a Steeler fan and watching Tomlin on the sidelines in foxboro.
I doubt this costs Vrabel his job, though. Maybe if he was 3-14, and not 14-3, coming off a Super Bowl appearance.

His failure was moral, not ethical.

Far worse for a reporter, who is supposed to be impartial, and that was/is married to have an affair with a married NFL head coach. Fair or not, her credibility is shot.

How can Vrabel be a head coach if he can't even hold press conferences? Dude is rightly unemployable in football for the forseeable future IMO.

"Did you ever share private Patriots' information with your mistress, and did your mistress ever share non-public information from other teams with you?"

Any number of brutal but totally fair questions, and "No comment" and pleas for privacy in response to questions like this will only make it worse. The owner, coaches and players will also get loads of related questions. Every new revelation will reset the clock. It would be an untenable bloodbath.

What in the world of "conflict of interest", "decency clause', and "sexual harassment/risk management - Epstein culture" don't we understand in todays society??

Who do you think she voted for NFL coach of the year last season?
