Cardinals released QB Kyler Murray.

It became a fait accompli that this would happen after no team wanted to pick up Kyler Murray's guarantees in 2027. The Cardinals will eat $54 million in dead cap space assuming Murray is not designated a post-June 1 release. The veteran quickly becomes the most competent quarterback on the market, and the fact that he can play with salary offsets ala Russell Wilson after his Broncos release means he may be available for the minimum. The Vikings and Falcons are the most plausible fits if Murray wants to rehabilitate his value on a deal like that. The former No. 1 overall pick ends his career in the desert with a 38-48-1 record, 20,460 passing yards, and 121 touchdowns against 60 interceptions.

Cards chose him instead of Bosa?

Thankfully

That is what I said in the run up to the draft, I thought no way they pass on Bosa so I was looking at other players
The Rams are trading for cornerback Trent McDuffie in exchange for a 1st rounder (#29) a 5th and 6th ths year and a 3rd rounder next year. Looks like KC is looking to restock their depleted roster.

As soon as Stafford is done, they're cooked.

The Rams have a really good roster and they don't need a lot. They're in the same position that the Niners were 3 years ago. Win now. They still have the 12th overall pick this year.

Lol we've heard this before. They were supposed to be done after years of trading away their picks and loading up their cap...and then they opened a brand new window with back-to-back great drafts.

Yep. Best coach in the league. One of the best FO in the league. Have actually won a SB and have appeared in a few.

We're not going anywhere until Shanahan and Lynch are shown the door. LA trading for McDuffie, we're counteracting by bringing back Deebo
Everybody is making deals while we sit there and do nothing. Our own division getting better while we sit still. Typical 49ers.

Who has made a deal other than LA?

You need to wheel and deal in trades, free agency and the draft. I can see how the Rams and Seahawks can win the Super Bowl and we can't. Almost everyone in our division can win the Super Bowl. Except the hopeless Cardinals.

Yep. Seattle, too.

The Rams had 2 first round picks so they were in a better position to make a trade than the Niners. the Niners have more holes to fill so they want to keep the picks.

All the while having Stafford. When he's done they're done.
