wonder if they think they can sign collins to a cheaper deal although that seems like a stretch.

I said it before Collins was released, but this is by far the worst IDL group(DL) in the NFL.

He was pretty good but I think Lynch has his mind made up that the entire line outside of Bosa needs an overhaul. Look for the 49ers to draft at least 2 DT. One big NT and 1 penetrative 3t. It also frees up money for Bosa and Allen if thats the direction they want to go.

There are multiple reports the 49ers have released DT Maliek Collins. That move is not official, yet. The 49ers can be expected to first see if there's a team out there willing to make a trade for him. He started all 17 games and played 67% of the team's defensive snaps.
