I really like this signing. He's still playing at a high enough level where this is a great bridge signing between holding down the fort for Greenlaw then sliding to the third linebacker spot in base packages once Greenlaw returns.

I think the team being in 2 SBs and multiple NFCCGs the past 5 years outweighs Staley being here in their decision making

He was also a captain for the chargers last year. Interesting that we've signed a few guys who've been around Staley (Leonard with the rams & now Perkins!).
i like this. Solid vet signing who's been dependable and a leader. Was 2019 all pro.
