those Jet teams featured Chosen Anderson, Quincy Enunwa and RB Crowell, before building around LeVeon. This is after LeVeon basically quit on the Steelers and focused on his rap music. LeVeon rushed for 3.2 ypc with the Jets in 2019, his NYJ debut. QB in NFL, you are relying on your talent around, your protection, your play caller, etc. Alex is a good example, he sucked 2005-2010, we finally got a coach in 2011 and he improved dramatically, then he got hooked up with another HC Reid, took it a whole nother level.

I just think it's pretty stupid that people are ready to give up on a guy who we gave up 3 first rounders to get because he struggled in a rain game but they love to prop up a guy that has done worse than Trey and is a proven bust in over 45 games. TL still under contract, we ain't given up on jack, it's a comp, meaning both will have opportunities this summer to show what they can do and how they can help our club.

You will know when we have given up on him, he will no longer be on roster. Same with Sam. No one cares about the cost anymore, it's what can you do to help this team win football games.

Yeah, it's impossible to thrive in a bad situation. For anyone. If we would of drafted Rodgers, he wouldn't be the Rodgers we know today.

hopefully darnold can be fixed and improved, which I think he can. He's only 25 and I think he has a great physical skill set. We will see if his mental issues on the field can be overcome. Kyle seems confident in it.

why wouldn't someone look at gore saying that and think "that's positive news. A highly respected football player for this organization, and someone who the front office often sought his talent evaluations, thinks the guy surprise some here. That's good news! Hopefully he's right". Lol

Why should someone take that short sentence and alter their opinion of Darnold based on the 56 games of information we currently have on him? He's nearly as likely to throw a pick as he is a TD. He's going to complete less than 6 in 10 passes. He's going to fumble just under 6 times for every 10 TD's he throws.

He's just the shiny new toy, nothing else. They speak of being rational yet 50+ games of him being a bad QB is apparently not enough to make a rational judgement. A career bust that has done nothing but lose and can't even hit 60% of his passes suddenly becoming a valuable asset is far more rational.
