And try to be nice to each other.

Try to be nice should go without saying. But as far as the other thing goes, I still have zero idea why admins/mods are so against having a Quarterback thread. I have been saying this for like a decade. I dont see the downside at all.

So you want a qb thread INSTEAD of a thread each? That may be doable. But I don't think it would be all that popular.

Its not that I necessarily WANT one QB thread. I just see you and other mods/admins constantly telling people to stay on topic, when the topic they are discussing is QBs. If someone is talkign about Brock Purdy in the Lance thread, thats techincally not on topic. But the topics are so intwined that its almost impossible to discuss one without mentioning the other. Just think it would be easier for all of you.

But its really your guys call. I just personally think it would lead having to monitor less places.

You just gotta name drop the guy who's thread it is, for example in the above you can say I think it would be easier for all of you, much like this season will be easier for Sam Darnold.

Just do like I do and write whatever you want, and then at the end of the post right their name.

Sam Darnold.
Also I got to say things are getting a bit ridiculous on the Sam Darnold fan club around the country.

I think the obvious best move is to not be so draconian about drifting from one QB to another in any of the threads, because all the QBs are connected: when one plays poorly enough, it affects the others, in either playing time or speculation about them receiving more playing time, contract discussions, and so on. But on the other hand it's good to have threads that primarily relate to each QB.

tl/dr the best solution is to realize that all three QBs are connected, and thus allow some overlap in each thread, but still allow each QB to have their own main thread where the majority of news on them will be discussed.

EDIT: Sam Darnold.

EDIT: Sam Darnold.

that edit is how it's done folks, one of the greatest edits in WZ history, like Sam is one of the best throwers in club history
He is mainly here to just provide a Veteran Presence for our young QBs that we lost when JG went away. Don't think he is really considered a viable option at QB, unless we have another year where all our QBs go down.

Maybe, but isn't that kind of why Brandon Allen is here too?
Sam was brought in as a hedge against more TL mediocrity
Allen was brought in for the case that TL can't beat out Sam for QB2 then they can trade him off and still have 3 QBs on the roster... I see this as the most likely outcome

Allen is here because there are only two healthy QBs right now and we normally have 3 for camp

And if that is true, why not just bring in a FA right of college on the cheap to dish the ball around, instead of paying money to a competent veteran backup like Allen?

Allen has a purpose and it is much much more than sharing the load during camp.

Primarily Allen is a put option on TL when he crashes.

Yeah, I think Kyle has a man crush on darnold. Lol I believe he was brought in for his veteran presence but also his skill set. He can play, maybe not great, but he's a really good backup to have. I also think the team had a good idea the three qb rule would pass.

i also think the team wanted him so they could keep their options open when it comes to moving players. Not that they are, or want to, but it makes it easier to stomach trading Trey if they got the package they want.

He also just adds quality competition for camp. Iron sharpens iron, so it SHOULD help the whole qb room become better. Darnold also seems like a high character guy.

i think you are putting a little more imagination into this than what it really is.

Darnold and Allen are not cemented on this team
