I know they all have faults but who doesn't? I find it awesome that after last years injury merry-go-round we have these options. And right now, any of them could end up leading the team.

You nailed it!

Great problem to have as opposed to having no QB options.

Like Atlanta.

yessir, and I am excited cuz of Brian Griese, all 3 guys are 25 and under, so development is key, and Griese seemed to do very well with Brock. I have no doubt he could help Sam and TL.
looking forward to watching Slingin Sammy in the preseason, me thinks he is going to a competent #2 for us this year behind BCB

I think he's gonna fit what we do here really, really well, and now with this 3 QB dress news, the roster clears up a lot, the thought I was having is once BP comes back, who is inactive, the answer is no one, or maybe Brandon Allen

Good call.

The QB competion is going to be incredible to watch.
New York Post has an entire Darnold article

All that's left is the bust in Canton.

ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reported on "SportsCenter" that opposing teams think Sam Darnold is far from an afterthought in the 49ers' upcoming quarterback competition.
"The Sam Darnold signing is really interesting to a lot of teams I talk to," Fowler said on Tuesday's edition of "SportsCenter."

"They believe that Sam Darnold is going to push for meaningful snaps with this team as early as Week 1. They believe his major talent has gone largely untapped. Maybe the 49ers can bring something out of him."

San Francisco does have one of the more intriguing quarterback situations in the NFL.

do we have anything here, or is it merely the offseason 'hype train'?

here is a tweet also

Might as well keep all 3 QB's since our QB's always seem to get injured.

Has any of our QB's made it through a full season w/out getting injured since KS took over?

Just a fair question not a criticism.
No one's mentioning Darnold's fumble in his first practice? Meanwhile if Trey fumbled… there would be 5 pages about it.

I am curious why that is assigned to Darnold, what if the center flubbed it?

Boom.. the first Darnexcuse has been made

Listen man I don't consider Sam as anything more than QB3 and I don't care what any QB3 does until they are playing

Blaming the center is only acceptable for QBs with a high winning percentage... silly.

What are the odds on Darnold being league MVP? Maybe throw a few bucks at that.

hey, Sam Darnold here is undefeated, with zero career turnovers
that fumble was probably not recovered, or knowing Sam, he probably recovered it himself

he was just practicing this gem, more than likely :

Yes, and Trey only has to go 3-0 to leapfrog Jimmy in 49ers win percentage (which we know you love)

FWIW I think Grant said TDP picked up the fumble for a 15 yard gain
