Kyle noted this kid is his speedy Travis Benjamin (and Marquise Goodwin before that). His job is to free up coverages for others. Ghost/clearing routes. Will rarely be a primary target. His job is to get others open. So remember that when you are about to say, "Come on Trey! Danny was open all game long!"

Lol

He's got it all figured out

You think otherwise?

Throw out an original thought or some projections. Would love your take.

No your right NC, I'm so sorry for disagreeing with you. They drafted this guy in the 3td to run ghost routes :

Maybe we can grab a punter for ghost punts and still keep the Aussie

No, you're right. Kyle was just kidding in comparing using him in the same role as "Travis Benjamin." Albeit, the hope is he'll be more effective.

Haha. Hightower is gone. Those ghost designs for the Special Teams Weapon are hopefully extinct.

Lord. You're too much, dude.

Let's try this...with Jennings, Ray-Ray and Kittle from the slot, Deebo and Aiyuk back, how many snaps do you think Gray gets in 2022? And what will be his primary role?

10 drops in 2 seasons. Don't think it's that bad. I think Deebo had 7 in a season.

But he was only thrown to 10 times in two seasons

With Jimmy it's a clearing route. With Lance, it's an alert route and could possibly be targeted.

Now here is a man that knows his s**t. I really like his ability to take it to the house from anywhere on the field. He's not going to be some contested catch monster and he could stand clean up his hands, but I think his best football is in front of him and could be a huge weapon paired with Lance and KS

he does have decent size though to run slants but he does have to add some strength for that
