ESPN sources: Steelers traded three-time All-Pro safety Minkah Fitzpatrick to the Dolphins in exchange for three-time All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey.

The rare player-for-player trade, and another trade.
Why would PIT do that?
Had to have something to do with money or there were some personal issues. Otherwise it makes no sense.
Update
All in all:

Upton Stout's footwork is CLEAN.
— Chase Senior (@Chase_Senior) June 29, 2025
Has a real chance to start for the 49ers in the slot as a rookie.
4.4 speed, sticky coverage, good against the run, ball skills, tough, led all DB's in the bench press at the combine

In this clip... in a playoff scenario, I can see Dweebo abusing the child (Stout) if they met
Deebo seen the comments lol s**t ain't sweet no more and doesn't look slow to me at all #RaiseHail 💨 💨 🔜 🔜 pic.twitter.com/Ec4nKUjWzf

Both Ramsey and Fitzpatrick have bigger names than on field contributions at this point, but there's no chance I would make this trade as the Steelers.
Jonnu did come through for me a few times in fantasy though.

Stout is supposed to be pretty sticky and we've all seen what man coverage does to Deebo.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love for the kid to prove himself and win the the position, but if he tries to get sticky with Dweebs, I'm just saying, he's not Kevin Hart... he might truck this kid down, especially coming at him head to head (we've seen Dweebo knock down dudes much bigger than Stout).

The thing is, if someone is in your pocket the QB is a lot less likely to throw you the ball.
The problem with small corners is they don't have the length to reach the ball over a WR, but Saleh is looking to put him in press man supposedly which may be where he can do his best work.
And nobody can get away forever with 180lb limpet attached, so as long as he just stays on his man he will go down eventually.

With the Steelers getting Jonnu, and already having Pat Friermuth - I would love to see us try to make a trade for Darnell Washington. I really wanted him in the draft, and it was who I was hoping we were going after when we traded up in the 3rd round. I think he'd be a huge upgrade (literally) for our 2nd TE. His blocking would really help free up Kittle to get out on passing routes more, and he's a massive RZ target too.
Luke Farrell is on the roster for the blocking part of this job, and he's a MUCH better blocker than Washington. I didn't think Washington was a good blocker in college, he was just a huge human ... I think he's been somewhat exposed in the NFL where technique matters a lot more. As a big target the 49ers are hoping Pline can do that (very low risk for likely low reward).
If they keep 4 TEs then it's Kittle, Farrell, and then the 2 best at ST among Dwelley, Pline, Tonges, Willis. Dwelley is an okay receiver but cannot block other than just briefly being in the way and they don't like him enough to have kept him from leaving last year, Tonges is a good ST player and could be a good blocker but he's not much of a receiver, Pline has good hands but hasn't shown that he can deal with NFL physicallity, Willis is probably the best overall TE prospect of this group since he's got good hands and is built like a blocker but needs polish there.
It's going to be a fight through pre-season and they will keep their eyes on the waiver wire for the last two spots (if they keep 4).

Dang, I was 80% sure the 49ers were going to trade for him with Jennings.

Lloyd Howell Jr. resigns as NFLPA executive director amid multiple controversies https://t.co/8JNCoW4Tw9 pic.twitter.com/S6O95EjU96
— New York Post (@nypost) July 18, 2025
He was reportedly picked up by a car service from the Fort Lauderdale International Airport on Nov. 2, 2023, around 10:30 p.m. and went straight to a Miami Gardens strip club.
Howell then had the driver wait outside "Tootsie's Cabaret" for seven hours while the NFLPA leader was inside the self-described world's largest strip club. He was then dropped off at his residence in Sunny Isles Beach around 6 a.m.
Howell's price tag for the car service, which he charged to the union, wound up at $738.82.
Over a year later, Howell struck again — this time with two of his employees.
