Is a done deal. Tom was back in San Mateo visiting his parents last week and Kyle stayed back and didn't go to the combine. The writing is on the wall. The rest is just formality. Tom will smooth out his exit from the Bucs without costing the 9ers an arm and a leg to trade for him.

Man, if Tom is behind center next season, I can't wait!!

I'd love to see it but not sure Shanahan has what it takes to pull something like this off. I sure hope I'm wrong and he brings in Tom though!

Well, Kyle knew he had to grab a couple of beers with Tom to clear the air when he turned him down in 2020 before he can progress to more serious talks in closing the deal.

Kyle also knows he is running out of time to get it done. Only 2 winning seasons out of 5? The star players are aging? He knows she has to win one like now to release the pressure valve.

I could be wrong, but for some reason I feel pretty good about our chances.

So if Tom decides he wants to unretire and play for us, why would Tampa allow Tom to dictate trade terms by lowering the cost? Bucs aren't running a charity, they should be looking to get as much as they possibly can.

If the 9ers were in the Bucs position, would anyone want us to help another team by not charging an arm and a leg or would our fans want us to get as much as we possibly can for Brady?

Is called integrity and appreciation.

Don't read too much into the garbage Arians is putting out there. He is out of his depth on this one.

Tom is not just any player, many may argue he is the GOAT, he is also a mature grown man at 44. I strongly believe he has access to Bucs' owner. He will simply go right to the top, call him and just sit down with the guy and explain he already gave them 2 years and delivered them a Super Bowl. That was a huge deal, even with as many good players as they have they just weren't getting anywhere. The moment Tom arrived, he sorted them out. Tom will just ask him man-to-man to facilitate the trade more as formality to let him play for his childhood team.

So, it is my belief the Bucs' owner will accommodate him. If he is a decent owner, he will do it.

Take Alex Smith for example, Jed also stepped in to make sure we did him a solid when they decided to trade him over Kap. So, if the situation was flipped, I am more than sure Jed would absolutely accommodate Tom. You know, Jed has come a very long way from firing Harbaugh and hiring Tomsula to now. He is maturing into a good owner.

I will be amazed if Brady unretires and even more stunned if the Niners bring him here.

No chance in hell. But it's been a fun read.

There is no pressure on Kyle.

He took over a dog s**t roster and rebuilt this team in the first rwo years, anyone and everyone can see that.

Last 3 years, a SB appearance and an NFCCG appearance.

And Brady can be "accomadated" but negotiations start high and will come down, and no reason for them to seek less than just because a team like SF does not have a first if that is what they value him at. That isn't their problem if that is what they are seeking, the deal has to work for both sides not just our side. This isn't Madden.

The only thing comical is Shanahan passing on Brady 2 years ago.

Not as comical as passing on Mahomes in favor of Solomon Thomas but a close 2nd.

I'm not allowed to post links yet, but there is a video going around on Twitter with Don Draper pitching Brady to the 49ers. Jimmy Traina just mentioned it on Sports Illustrated.

Brady looked like s**t????

12-4 record, 4,000 yards passing with 24 TD's and 8 INT's

I'll take that and Tom Brady any day over whatever the hell the 9ers had in the last 20 years.
